  ION solar's employees are apparently unable to read. I have a clearly displayed 'No Soliciting' sign just above my doorbell. The person just wouldn't listen, kept saying I'm not trying to sell anything... I pointed out but you are soliciting in violation of city code. After asking three time for them to go away I finally said get off my property right now or I'm calling the police. They left.I'll never do business with a company that has employees like this, they simply are not trust worthy as a company.

  I have had two solar installations done by Ion Solar. Both were smooth and painless. Everyone was professional throughout the installation. All plans were well communicated and executed flawlessly. Financing was outlined very clearly, with no surprises. If you are looking for a reputable, professional solar installer, I highly recommend ION.

  As a homeowner who recently had a 27-panel solar panel array installed by ION Solar, I cannot express enough how satisfied I am with their service. From start to finish, the entire process was smooth and efficient. They guided me step-by-step throughout the entire 5 month long process, assisting with everything ranging from getting H.O.A. signatures/approval, getting my local county Building ************************ and the required documents/approvals required with our local energy provider Dominion Energy.Firstly, I was impressed by the professionalism and knowledge of the staff. They took the time to explain all aspects of the installation process and answered all of my questions with patience and clarity. This level of customer service instilled confidence in me from the very beginning.The installation itself was carried out with precision and expertise. The team arrived promptly on the scheduled date and worked diligently to complete the installation in a timely manner. Not only were they skilled at their craft, but they also maintained a clean and organized work environment throughout the process.The quality of the solar panels installed is top-notch. I've already begun to see a significant reduction in my energy bills, and it's only been a short time since they were installed. It's clear that ION Solar uses only the best products available on the market.Furthermore, I was pleasantly surprised by the level of post-installation support provided by ION Solar. They followed up with me to ensure everything was working properly and offered assistance with any additional questions or concerns I had.Overall, I couldn't be happier with my decision to choose ION Solar for my solar panel installation.   ION Solar promised that they would file all the necessary paperwork for the Oregon State solar incentive program, and ION Solar filed NOTHING with Oregon State. This failure to do what they promised has resulted in me having to pay on a loan with Dividend of about $ ********* more than what had been promised! The employees at the Oregon State solar incentive program told me explicitly that ION Solar lied to me about what they would provide. The work done was fine; however, ION Solar did indeed lie about what they would provide.

  They have terrible customer service and absolutely no communication skills with their customers. We purchased solar panels and waited 6 months to get things up and running for a little bit over $58,000.00. The first of March 2024 our roof started leaking. My husband went up in the attic and found that due to poor installation. It punctured the roof it leak. They finally came out on March 14. Looked up in the attic took some pictures with the Cell Phone and then went back and said someone would call no one ever called me. I called them back the week of April 1. We finally heard from someone named ****** who said they would get back with me to set up an appointment to remove the panels. he spoke to my husband and stated that the inspection was not done properly and thoroughly and he would make sure someone came out and rechecked it. we had an appointment at 4 oclock on Tuesday, April 16 to have the panels removed. I received a call at 2 PM stating we need it to pay $750 before they would come out and remove the panels upon reviewing the email that was sent to me asking for my approval, it was $750 to remove the panels and another $750 to put them back on. This was only for four panels I have taken it been taken advantage of and scammed I want to get messaged out to other senior citizens to beware

  *** has been spectacular to work with. A previous solar company had tried to push the largest system possible which would have cost twice as much as my utility bill. *** came in with a system that met my energy needs, but also has the potential to cost less than my current electric bill. From the start they have handled everything seamlessly, and Ive literally just sat back and enjoyed the work.

  We got a presentation about solar from a different company, but then we met with Ion and it was a clear distinction. I felt they were more up front with us and had a better business model as well. Cordel, our sales rep was knowledgeable and friendly. We moved forward with Ion and the whole process has been quick and easy. Friendly staff and no problems so far.

  ION solar's employees are apparently unable to read. I have a clearly displayed 'No Soliciting' sign directly above my doorbell. And yet, they persist. I have had numerous salespeople ring that doorbell, even if there's a sign on the door alerting people that there is a shift worker who lives in the home and is sleeping during the day. They continue to ignore it and ring the doorbell. Their solution, if one can call it that, is to email them, providing them my personal information and asking to add my personal information to a list for do not knock or call....... unacceptable. Or! Alternate option for ya ion. Teach your employees to read. Do better and quit the rude, pushy, thoughtless attempts at forced sales. You've guaranteed that I'll NEVER use your business.

  Me and my husband complaint isn't directly with the company, however it's to provide feedback that *** help another customer due to misleading information we received from our sales manager, ********************* who completed our initial application. We were informed prior to signing our application that we'd receive a $12,000 incentive payment as an energy credit when filing our taxes and we'd have the option to do whatever we want with the money or pay it back to our principal balance. **** informed us that if we paid it back to our principal balance that our payment amount would remain the same for the remainder of the loan, however, if we opted to keep the money, after 2 years our payment amount would increase. After speaking with our licensed tax advisor, she informed us that the information provided by the sales manager is incorrect, and the energy credit doesn't work as explained and we wouldn't receive the total incentive payment all at once. For example, one could file and receive a $3000 credit and someone else could receive $1000 which many factors are taken into account, like the pricing of the panels etc. She further stated that everyone's situation isnt the same and a sales person shouldn't advise a customer about a tax related issue. However, the incentive payment won't be a one time bulk payment. The problem with this is, our finance company is expecting us to pay this incentive payment back towards our principal balance, which we don't have and won't receive. As a result, in the next few months our payment is going to increase and there's nothing we can do about it and this is all because of incorrect information provided by ****. Me and my husband aren't happy about this because she's also the cause of us having to pay double payments prior to our installation due to there being a back log. When we tried to reach out to her she didn't return any of our calls. However, *** with *** helped us out, but the misinformation has been a burden & is unacceptable.

  This place is great. From the regional manager **** to the installers and all the customer service people who reached out and kept me posted on the process. I would recommend ION solar to my friends and family.
