5 stars*********************** has been absolutely incredible to work with. He has kept in contact with me throughout the entire process and will call me immediately with any questions I may have. I am so happy with Ion Solar and the company as a whole. The install team was prompt and got the panels installed in 4 hours. They were respectful and kind. I will refer Ion to anyone interested in solar. It has been exceptional customer service from the beginning!Review fromDeborah E

1 starION solar is the worst company you will ever have the dismay of buying. They are not an actual company if you count people actually being employed by the company. They hire independent contractors for sales, service, everything....They destroyed my credit by giving my contract to a finance company that began to charge me one day after I signed, after ***************************, their sales person, told me I would "not have to pay one ***** until it was up and running. " It took 5 months, and my credit went from 803 to 557 while they persecuted me. Their engineers screwed everything up, did not pay attention to the altitude we live at, and it took 3 tries. DO NOT GET INVOLVED WITH THIS COMPANY OR ANY OF THEIR FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS. YOU WILL BE VERY SAD AND SORRY IF YOU DO!Review fromDarian P

5 starsThe first time ****** came to our house he answered all our questions and was patient with us. After the first meeting, my wife and I decided now was not the right time and he understood. A few months went by and I reached back out and once again ****** answered even more questions. We decided to go through with it and am sure glad we did. ****** and the team at Ion Solar are awesome. They never seemed bothered when I would call or email them asking more questions. They were also very great at keeping constant communication with me letting me know what the next steps would be even up to once we had permission to turn our solar on, they sent me an email showing me how to turn it on. If you are unsure about solar or what company to go with, I most definitely recommend Ion Solar.Side note ****** even gave me a recommendation for my parents to get solar in ********** as Ion does not operate in that state. ****** went above and beyond!Review fromChelsea H

1 starGetting solar panels was one of the worst decisions me and my husband have ever made. The salesmen just tell you what you want to hear to get the panels installed. We thought we asked all the right questions. Like what happens if you want to sell your home? Which we were told its an easy transfer to the new owners., and would NOT count against a persons debt to income so it doesnt affect the sell of your home. We were also told that we would get a very nice tax incentive for the year, and we could use that incentive as we wish, or we could use it pay the solar loan down. BOTH statements are lies. We are currently selling our home, and its NOT an easy transfer. Its been an absolute nightmare. We had the first contract on our home, and we find out that its not an easy transfer, and the solar loan does effect your debt to income, so the cost of our home was ****** higher to qualify for due to the solar. So, the buyers of course backed out. Now we are on our second contract for the sell of our home, and they denied our buyer the solar loan. Our buyer qualifies for over ******* dollars more than we are selling our home for. NOT to mention that we are now informed that the amazing tax incentive (that we have yet to receive bc we havent filed our taxes this year) HAS to be paid before we can transfer the loan of our solar panels to another person. That cost us over ****** dollars. I am writing this complaint, so this hopefully doesnt happen to another person. Ion solar will say and do whatever it takes to get the panels on your house. ION Solar LLC does NOT provide timely, professional customer service to fix a roof leak caused by faulty installation. We had a roof leak in December 2023 as a result of ***'s substandard installation of our 24 solar panels in 2021. The installation crew drilled three pilot holes into our roof, missed their target, and filled said holes with ***** Silicon which disintegrated in two years per their employee who inspected the roof. He admitted that the crew did not follow procedures properly. Keep in mind, we did not know the cause of the leak until we contacted a water remediation company (Sunday) to help locate and limit further damage. ION is not available on the weekends for emergencies, besides, we did not know the root cause. . We met with the local ION repair person who did NOT replace the shingles, instead he put a piece of flash between our shingles with *******************. We contacted a professional roofer who repaired our roof by removing the flashing and replacing two shingles. *** would NOT send out a licensed roofer nor would they reimburse us for the water remediation company. We are now out of pocket nearly $5,000 for water remediation, professional roofer, and drywall repair. We regret purchasing solar panels with ION. Their customer service took several hours to return our calls and inquiries. When we asked for a manager, we were put off for days. Do your homework and research before you invest in solar panels with ION.

Despite the challenging weather conditions, with freezing temperatures, their team installed 17 solar panels on our house with exceptional skill and efficiency. From start to finish, they were punctual, arriving right on time as promised. The team demonstrated the utmost courtesy and professionalism throughout the installation process.The quality of work was outstanding. Every panel was installed perfectly, and they paid great attention to detail, ensuring everything was done correctly and neatly. Their commitment to quality and customer satisfaction was evident in every aspect of their work. The entire experience was smooth and hassle-free, which is quite remarkable considering the weather challenges they faced.I would highly recommend Ion Solar to anyone looking to switch to solar energy. Nov 25 2023 *********** ********************* came over and talk to me and my wife about the solar panels. He was saying it will save us money. And pushing us to sign for the first process which is the the roof survey. **** told us that we could cancel without getting charged as long the panels were not being installed. We sign for the roof to be survey on 11/ 27 /2023. They came and did the survey. The salesman ********************* call be a few days later and said everything was good with the roof. I told him we were having second thoughts because of some reviews that we saw on the BBB about the company lies about charging people fees even after they said the weren't. ********************* said again we will not charge you nothing along as they are not in the final process of installing the solar panels. I told ********************* that we were not going forward. Over the past month I kept getting phone calls every day even as late as 9 30 pm at night from ********************* and email. I just got a bill for $1500.00 for a roof survey and auto *** design that I didn't agree to. I was lied to by ********************* about not paying fees if I canceled before installing. This company and salesman are the worst. Don't used this company.ION Solar, LLC
