5 starsI was looking for solar connection for my new house in *****, I came across many providers, however it took almost a month for me to check each one of them who responded to me.Finally I have approached ION Solar, and right from the day one my interaction with them were very positive and I was getting answers for all the questions I was putting to them and I must say that my experience was nothing short of exceptional. From start to finish, ION Solar provided me with outstanding service and a solar energy solution that exceeded my expectations.From our very first meeting, ****** demonstrated an impressive level of knowledge and expertise in solar energy systems. He patiently answered all of my questions and took the time to explain every aspect of the process in a clear and concise manner. Hunters professionalism and friendly demeanor made me feel comfortable throughout the entire sales process.What truly stood out during my interaction with Hunter and ION Solar was their dedication to finding the perfect solar energy solution for my home. ****** took the time to thoroughly understand my energy needs and provided a customized plan that not only met but exceeded those requirements. I was impressed with the level of detail and attention given to my project, which made me confident in their ability to deliver exceptional results.Once I made the decision to move forward with ION Solar, the installation process was seamless and efficient. The team of technicians, worked diligently and finished the installation smothly. I was impressed with their professionalism and attention to detail. I am spending more with solar than I ever did without! I have tried many times to have someone look at my system and all they say is Your system is working well, if I am 69% dependent on the electrical power grid and they see that as fine, then they need to figure out the math! I have tried several people on the phone and emails and they dont seem to care. I put in a service request and 3 months later was my Your system is fine but yet no one ever showed up. And of course you are stuck with it, there are no returns on this. Do not use Ion Solar or buy ******* systems.

Our story: we went with ION Solar to get solar panels and batteries installed at our residence. The main reason we did this is to have power when the power goes out here (which, up in the Tualatin Hills, is becoming increasingly often). We were quoted an amount for the entire solar panel install + 2 batteries in MARCH of 2023, and we signed for the financing at that time through their provided financer. They proceeded to try to get engineering plans approved EIGHT TIMES over the course of the next 6 months. They finally got those engineering plans approved WITH the batteries in them. In OCTOBER, they called to tell us they were ready to schedule an install, but that they were sorry, they couldn't install batteries in ******. Because had so much time invested in waiting, plus the financing was already in place, we decided to get batteries elsewhere, and let them install the solar panels. We finally got our solar panels installed in NOVEMBER of 2023. BUT WAIT - there's more! So, we worked with another contractor to get batteries installed, only to find out that:A) financing would be at a 4+% increased rate, because we didn't combine it with the solar panels, and B) the ****** Energy Trust program that gives tax incentives for solar and battery backups would NOT allow us to get tax credit for the batteries because they didn't come through the same company. BEWARE of ION solar - don't get screwed like we did.ION Solar, LLC

5 starsEven before we built our house we knew we wanted solar. We had already been inquiring with different companies when we talked to ion. We are so glad he went with ion, from their first meeting to our installment it has been a great experience.Why we went with ion.Having a company that we could trust was highly important. Both salesmen, ***** and ****** answered all of our questions including some of our concerns. They were professional and talked about what their company had to offer and could provide. Which was a huge contrast to other companies we talked and only seemed to trash talk.Our sales **** **** was of great help. He was really able to dive into a deeper understanding of what it would look like for us getting solar and how to make it happen. All three of them were easy to get ahold of and replied promptly.Installation, we had our solar installed the day after Christmas. It was a breeze and the work was done perfectly. The gentleman installing the solar, ***** and his crew were all very professional.Overall we are glad we did our research and we are just so happy we went with ion.Review fromEric t T
