5 starsION installed my solar panels everything went exactly as they said and on time. They use ****** panels ****** is a Tier 1 panel company highest rating. I highly recommend this company. ********************* was my saleman and everything went exactly as he promised.Review fromDavid L

1 starI am in ****** and had recently signed up with ION Solar. I had met with two other Solar companies after ION and decided to go with ION ONLY because I was promised to received an incentive that will reimbursed me with on my energy bill until next summer. Since it was getting to winter in ****** lacks sunlight during winter. That was a big mistake! ***** from ION Solar was the sales man in ******, he claims he does *********, ** to ****** so be aware. Don't believe in their lies about any incentives unless you are prepared to ******* them down consistently, no one has time for that!!! I am sure if they do this to me, I am not the only one which is why I want to leave these review here to make consumers aware!!!! Don't believe them if they tell you that you will ONLY see a $20-$40 in your energy bill after you install Solar!!! Do your own math and DD. Lies after lies to hook you in. I am $50K in the hole, I am still paying for my energy bill plus my loan with the solar. I am paying double to what I use to pay now. Hopefully summer I can see some relief in ******. Also, not to mentioned they messed up my dry wall at my breaker box during install and had to send a tech out to patch it up. However, the tech came out totally unprepared, didn't have paint, I just bought the home so there were some paint left behind and was able to give their tech the paint to use. Do your DD. 5 starsIon Solar has been a terrific company to work with - including everyone from sales reps to office staff to installers. They have kept us in the loop for every step and have been very timely in getting the project completed. The Ion solar representative gives you a long explanation about the production numbers of their panels and they do a quick estimate of it when in reality the production for their panels is nowhere near enough for what you need. You only discover this after a survey has been done an according to their contract you have to pay for all that. So $3500 later you never get what you were sold. The sales agent is only there to lock you into contract. You need to run the numbers on your own and still underestimate the quoted numbers to see if it's even profitablefor you to get their services.

3 starsWe live in ***********, **********, and recently had a metal roof put on our house. ION SOLAR came out and removed the panels. After the roof was completed and passed professional inspection, we called ION to replace the panels. My husband received 10+ calls from them promising to do the reinstall, which has not yet happened. This letter posted to the BBB website is my first attempt to resolve this BREACH of CONTRACT, and I will make others. If I am not successful, it will turn into litigation. *** must replace the panels; if another party does and functioning problems occur, ION will not pay.Review fromMichael W

An Ion Solar, LLC representative came to our door to sell their product after we had told another representative a week prior that we were not interested. My husband opened our front window to talk to the representative, and the representative said and I quote "oh, you don't have the respect to come to the front door?" To which my husband replied, I've already told your other representative we are not interested. Then my husband pointed to our "no solicitors" sign to which the representative replied "oh, I don't care about that". Even if we were entertaining adding solar, which we are not, and we had told that to the first representative, we would never dream of going with this company for solar after the treatment of the sales personal.ION Solar, LLC

1 starFull disclosure, I have posted this review on ****** as well. The duplication is deliberate. If I had it to do over again, I would never have used Ion for my solar panels. The initial install was fine, but on the back end, now 5 years later, the support is absolutely abysmal.Like another user below, our Enphase gateway stopped communicating with the network and we were not notified and didnt find out until we got a huge power bill in June. The exact same thing happened to us last summer. Enphase passes the buck to Ion and ************ takes a minimum of 2 weeks to get you on their schedule.We have had our system down for over four months now. Ive made over 15 calls to the company to resolve my issue. Ive been charged $250 for the last 2 years as a service fee to fix the issue that is still not fixed. They have come to my home five separate times to fix the problem and have literally done nothing but reboot the system each time, only for it to fail a day later. When I call, the first person you speak to doesnt have access to, or doesnt read the notes on your case so you have explain your issue over and over every time you call, and then, again, its 2 more weeks before they can get someone out to your house.They do not follow up, they do not return calls even when they say they will, and most of the technicians they have sent to my house do not have the knowledge or tools necessary to even test the issue, let alone fix it.Im now out over a thousand dollars in service fees and added energy costs with a solar panel system that is sitting on my roof doing nothing and I see no sign of a resolution on the horizon.If youre looking for a solar company that will be with you for the long haul, look elsewhere. These guys could care less once they have the sale
