The business’s website claims “we are confident that our safe and non-toxic treatments will prevent the spread of pests, insects, and rodents on your property.” According to BBB’s Code of Advertising, non-toxic claims likely convey that a product, package or service is non-toxic both for humans and for the environment generally. Thus advertisers must either possess competent and reliable scientific evidence that this is the case or clearly and conspicuously qualify the claim to avoid confusion.
As of June 14, 2024, the business hasn’t fulfilled BBB’s requests to substantiate, modify, or discontinue these claims.
