May 27th I paid NuviaSmiles in Las Vegas for an upper full arch implants.
I was not approved for surgery. Therefor, I asked for a full refund on 6/11/2025
I was told they would expidite my refund as normally it takes 3 weeks. Still no refund as of 7/5/2025.
I too was told if something went wrong or I was not approved for surgery there would be no problem getting my money back. No follow up from them regarding my refund or why it is taking so long to be processed.Business Response

I have continued to receive calls and texts from various numbers for Nuvia Dental. They are addressed to “Rod” although I have had this number for over 20 years. I have asked for the calls to stopped and have marked the texts as spam. They continue. I work nights and frequently have my phone on do not disturb during typical business hours. They have double called which went through my do not disturb and woke me up before a shift. I want the calls and texts to stop. I have never done business with this company; I had never heard of them before the spam calls and texts started; I have no interest in business with them.Business Response

Apparently filing a complaint is the only way to get Nuvia to stop calling from different numbers every single day. Sometimes twice a day. I will not do business with anyone who behaves in such a shameful manner.Business Response

In April I went to Nuvia in ***********. I was asked to give a down payment and, I gave $10,000. I was not able to do the surgery because I could not get medically cleared for sedation. I have asked about my refund many times and was told , its a process. They dont keep in contact at all and I have yet to receive anything back. If anyone is going there for their new smile, ask about there refund policy. So far Im ****** off and cannot get dentures due to them not giving me my money ey back or keeping in contact.Business Response

Insanely disrespectful marketing/advertising tactics. I have never contacted this company in my life but they somehow got my phone number and text, call, leave voicemails constantly asking for someone under a different name. Blocking the number and reporting as spam does nothing because they are constantly contacting from different phone numbers. This has gone on for almost a month now with them contacting me almost daily sometimes multiple times per day. Definitely qualifies as harassment at this point.Business Response

Nuvia lacked transparency. They also lied on multiple times.
I had paid all moneys upfront before signing any papers, or before even speaking to a Doctor (dentist, surgeon). They handed me a digital print of a picture of what the end product should look like…. This is what sold me.
I come to realize that Nuvia was NOT transparent at all. In this group I’ve learned that healing time is crucial, & most likely required to get a right fit for the end results. I’ve learned that this is why most dental offices use what you call temps, before fitting you for permanent prosthetics.
Nuvia gives two appointments after implants & prosthetics are place. Week two appointment, & a month four appointment . On my week two appointment I rosed a concerned I had about a gap I was noticing between the gum & prosthetics. I was told on this appointment that nothing can be done now. That the gap will most likely get bigger because my gums are still healing. Dr said the correction will be made in my four month appointment. The doctor reassured my fiancé and I that it will be corrected even if a new bridge had to made.
Now comes my four month appointment. I had several concerns brought up. The gap was one, the medal abutment showing, as well as the alignment (especially on the bottom bridge) was not even. Lastly I felt like both top & bottom prosthetic needed to be pushed back. I felt like they were too bulky. I expressed these concerns with the doctor, the doctor coming back saying nothing can be done. Giving me excuses after excuses why having new bridge made won’t change anything. I was not happy at all. Very disappointing, crying and using my phone to record. I said I will seek other opinions.
He finally agreed to see what the lab can do. I saw to other dentist and both agreed with me on all my concerns.
I don’t trust Nuvia. I want a little more than half of my money back so I can go get new prosthetics made elsewhere. I call office and the call goes to a faxBusiness Response

I had the full mouth implants about 1 year now, I have repeatedly returned to the dentist to have my implants addressed. The initial dentist was let go, and the second dentist who took over my case agreed with my concerns about the implants being defective and unsuitable. In December 2024, he ordered a new set of implants for me. While I have been waiting for the lab to fabricate them, I have been using a temporary "dummy" implant. I was promised that the new implant would be placed within a couple of weeks, but it has now been several months, and they are unable to provide me with an estimated delivery date.
On February 15, the lower implants became infected, and I was prescribed antibiotics for two weeks. My everyday life has been extremely difficult; eating and speaking have become challenging. The defective implant I am currently wearing is misaligned and sharp, making it painful in my mouth.Business Response

Please change your advertising. Your ads are very annoying and repetitive and I get so tired of seeing them every time I go on the Internet, every single day. I have no teeth and I just received a large inheritance and would be a great candidate for your services, but I wouldn't consider spending a dime with you because of the fact that your ads are so freaking annoying. Thank you for your time. The worst one to me is the ugly dudes face that ops up at the end of every article on ************ Please change it to someone that is not so hard to look at. keeps calling me about dental services .. i have not asked or talked to these people at all. thier phone calls are annoying me daily. i am on the do not call registry. they even call on weekends and holidays. they have a robo caller system and constantly call from different numbers.Business Response
