    We were the lucky recipients of an asphalt deal where they had a cancellation and was going to have to dump a load of asphalt because of it. They promised to give us the asphalt at a smoking deal if we would take it. We were told that there was around **** ft. of asphalt That we would pay $3.86 per square foot for a total of $7700. They poured the asphalt in the wrong spot and it ended up being closer to **** ft. of asphalt they poured. When we asked them what they were going to do to finish up the job since they poured in the wrong spot, they told us that they would have to Get more asphalt and finish it up the next day. They did this and then handed us a bill for just under $25,000 for around **** sq ft of asphalt. The job is absolutely horrific. We even had another asphalt contractor come out to give us a second opinion and he said it was one of the worst jobs he had seen and laughed that we had fallen for the. we had a cancellation trick. the contractor also told us that it looked like they only poured the asphalt 1 inch thick instead of the 3 inches that is required for a base pour, which is probably why the **** ft. that they told us they had turned into ****************************************** the wrong spot. The company owner has been unwilling to work with us on the situation and has only offered to do a seal coat on the driveway. We hesitantly allowed them to come and do the seal coat because we felt like we were getting screwed regardless and we would at least get a little bit better product than what we currently had . There are many problems with the install but there is not enough room to explain them here
