      In the fall of 2023 I purchased 3 sets of Beddy's (2 of the sets were purchased as part of an exchange where I decided to keep both items). One arrived with a defect in the fabric that they replaced. Recently a second set was discovered to also have defective fabric when the fitted sheet ripped right down the middle within 6 months. The sheet in question is on a bed that is rarely slept in and has only been washed a few times.

      I contacted the merchant about the warranty that came with the purchase. They offered a gift card for half of the purchase. A gift card sounded adequate until they refused to sell any pieces separately. A gift card as a "warranty" means I would have to purchase a full set of bedding ($300), use the gift card, and pay $150 out of pocket for ONE sheet that is still within the warranty. I asked to purchase a replacement sheet separately, which they refused.

      Unfortunately, I was misled about what their "warranty" entailed. Although they claim to offer a 365-day "tiered warranty," they do not stand by their products after 180 days. Finding the details of the warranty is impossible on their website. Beddy's does not offer a true warranty and it allows them to continue to profit off of an inferior product and poor customer service.

      They rely heavily on "we're a small business" as an explanation for poor-quality products, which I think is the most troublesome part of the entire ordeal--as if raking in millions from defective merchandise is ok. It comes as no surprise to me that much of the marketing of this influencer-run "small business" is done through other influencers through sponsorships, discounts, and freebies. Upon researching this company, you will find numerous reviews of the same defects--holes in the fitted sheets. On platforms where Beddy's cannot control the narrative, such as Amazon reviews, there are numerous people who have all experienced the exact same fabric defects in the fitted sheet.

      Beddy's does not consider tears in fabric to be a manufacturer issue. Tears in fabric can happen many ways and is not due to a flaw in manufacturing. Because we truly do care about our Customer, we do cover tears within our warranty.  We provide a 365 day tiered warranty on all our products. Beddy's is one of only a few companies that offers a warranty on items that are made from fabric and ours is one of the best there is. We are sorry, but we are not able to sell our tops and bottoms separately as the zippers will not line up properly.

      I am rejecting this response because: It is absolutely a product/fabric flaw when there are a plethora of complaints all over describing the exact same defects with photographic evidence like I am. There is evidence to suggest this use of poor quality fabric is a widespread issue. Touting a misleading warranty that is not actually real warranty and requires the consumer to spend more money on defective and low quality fabrics is unethical.

      Customer's sheet is not worn at all. Fabric can tear many ways that are not related to manufacturing. Beddy's has a 365 day tiered warranty and although we do not consider tears in fabric to be a manufacturing issue, unless it were to come from the factory like this, we still assist our Customers with tears with a warranty claim. We offer a replacement or a gift card for the full purchase price 0-90 days. We offer a gift card for 75% of the value 91-180 days and our third tier is a gift card for 50% of the value for items used 181-365 days. This item was purchased 10/01/2023 and the purchase price $288.96. When we assisted Customer on 4/11/2024 she was given a gift card for $144.48 which is 50% of the purchase price of the item. We feel our tiered warranty accounts for all true manufacturing issues and assists our Customers with items that aren't even considered a manufacturing issue.
