      In late January 2022, I booked 2 hotel rooms through this service for a family event in August 2022 at a cost of approx $774 for the 2 rooms. In July, I contacted the hotel directly to just make sure everything was ready since I hadn't received any correspondence from the hotel directly, even though my credit card had already been charged by Reservation Counter in January. When I contacted the hotel, they told me they had no reservation for me. I contacted Reservation Counter on several occasions, and they told me they were working on the resolution. Even talked to one "Manager" who told me the same thing. Bottom line, they made promises but never got my reservation fixed. I ended up booking 2 rooms directly with the Hotel, which in July cost me $609 PER room. I finally got a refund from Reservation Counter, but their inability to do their service cost me an extra $640 for the 2 rooms. I have requested the President's name of the company to contact on several occasions, which never happened. Also requested they reimburse me for the extra it cost me to book the rooms due to their mess up, and of course haven't heard a word. Extremely poor, poor service from their company. Can't believe they are still in business when they can't do the job their Company supposedly offers for people.

      I thought I was making a reservation directly with Hilton for one of their DoubleTree properties in ******* **. Turns out I had somehow been redirected to Reservation Counter. They added a $14.99 fee, which I do not remember seeing disclosed anywhere as well as $55 in "taxes and fees". When I contacted the hotel directly, they said the "taxes and fees" should be more in the $20-25 range. Contacted Reservation Counter and they cannot (or will not) provide a breakdown of those charges. Full disclosure - after an extended time trying to get answers, I did get more than a little testy and for that I apologized.What I thought was a pretty good rate, ended up being more than I would have paid directly to the hotel - and then some....One star because I couldn't figure out how to do 0!!!

      ************ is a total scam, made reservations for 6 rooms in central CA, then they stated plus taxes and fees without giving the dollar value of these fees. Ended up being over 125% of the room cost. Once I got the confirmation, the room cost was $421, with "taxes and fees" being $553. I called 15 minutes later and they refused to cancel the reservations ************ shows office in ****, however all calls went to ********...this company then is part of ********* LUXURY *** and my cc was charged by Priceline, who refuses to help cancel these charges.TOTAL SCAM, which is disappointing that PRICELINE associates which such terrible companies and will not help to remove charges, and they are defending these two companies.I will fight this to the end and not pay, and file a complaint with Priceline, and with ********* Luxury, who by the way does not seem to exist...

      Nice that you are sorry for my bad experience. Requested refund was stated with no concern from your company to do so immediately. this has not changed. The total charges were never stated, never... Be the standup company you claim to be and issue my refund for 6 rooms as soon as possible. deceit is your calling card when it comes to ************* and ignoring the totals due to be expressed during the call, which is the only reason that you refuse to accept refundable deals. no one would purchase from you as a company... Please refund as soon as possible.

      You are not an independent booking company if you use ********* LUXURY *** as your ** branch, and PRICELINE through L.V. L. ** as your billing co. Why can't you handle your own booking, billing branch of your own company. Why can't you step up and refund me based on complete manipulation of the total billing fees and taxes? I expect a refund, no exceptions P L E A S E !

      Omg. Terrible. I was trying to reach Holiday inn directly and ended up talking to these goofballs. I asked repeatedly, are they pet friendly??? Oh yes they are. They took my info and reserved room. I get there and was told by front desk that they are not a pet friendly hotel! So i was like, i asked specifically about a snall dog and was told multiple times that you are. So i could not stay and had my infant granddaughter with me!!- had to find other accomidations at last minute that cost way too much. I called these idiots back and they tell me they have to pull the audio of the reservation and investigate it. This is ridiculous. They had no empathy whatsoever. All i got was sighs like i was a bother! Beware. Never again.

      100%fraud. ************* I am working with bank, ********, and other ways to get my refund. I agreed to pay a certain amount for a room thinking I was on the Marriott website: I went to hit confirm and it charged me over $800 for 3 nights at the hotel. Reservation Desk website basically says they are 3rd party and you are out of luck if anything goes wrong. The problem is, I went to Marriott.com to book my room at Fairfield ************ in **********, ** sept 1-4th. Ill was visiting my father so when the $800 payment due showed up I panicked and hit AFFIRM. Its a loan company that you pay over 8 months. So now I have to fight this reservation Desk fraud website even harder because I owe the money to AFFIRM. They need to be shut down. Even if you go to the reservation desk.com and WANT to use this illegal web site, dont. You will get overcharged. But in my case, I went to Marriott.com. The reservation desk somehow clicked me over to them. I wont stop until I get my money back to pay off the loan . Its not easy but I will keep working with all authorities I am advised to work with during my research to get my money back. Reservation desk told me no refunds. .obviously

      I am very disappointed in my service with Reservation Counter. This company website is https://www.reservationcounter.com they are truly very incinerated and tells lies. After, the lies were uncovered the representative hung up phone without a resolution. Please be very mindful when you consider booking with ******** for services they are redirecting you to a 3rd party site without your knowledge. They appear to have paid a 3rd party for certain hotel in my case it was reservationcounter.com. DO NOT USE THEM!!! You would be better off MAKING SURE THAT YOU"RE BOOKING DIRECTLY. After the issue transpired, I started doing research on this company and I believe their rating are a SCAM as well they are misleading ALL LIES!!!!!

      I thought I was booking directly with ************, not true. They appear to have paid to have their ad appear at the top of the page whenever a search for a particular hotel is done.If I could rate these cr*minals with MINUS 5 stars I would.I booked 2 nights 8/15-8/16/2022 AND 2 more nights on 8/22-8/23. My plans fell through and I had to return home on the 17th.I called to cancel the 22nd through 24th and was told I HAVE TO PAY A 100% PENALTY. reservationcounter dot com (domain registered in Iceland) REFUSE TO REFUND ANYTHING.THIS WEBSITE IS A SCAM - DO NOT USE THEM!!!You would be better off MAKING SURE THAT YOU"RE BOOKING DIRECTLY WITH THE ****** YOU WILL DOUBTLESS GET THE SAME OR BETTER RATES AS WELL!It's obvious from dozens of reviews that I've read at other review sites that their standard practices and policies are ripping off a great number of people.

      I googled the hotel I wished to stay at and then called their contact number which turned out to be a business somewhere in ****! I was under the assumption I was calling the hotel in *******, *******! They took my reservation for two rooms and all of my information, not once mentioning it was ** funds, so therefore I took I was booking through ******. Just before we were to wrap things up, I was disconnected from the agent??? While I was trying to decide what to do next, I got a call twice, from an ******** number in ****, so I hung up both times thinking it was a fraudulent number. The third time I picked up , realizing it was the agent, and I had booked through the **! I was told I would get an email ASAP, which I have never received to this day! I was worried because they now had my credit card info., and I had not received an email as is the case with a real hotel. I was very concerned and called MasterCard who advised me to cancel my credit card, so I did. I have since contacted reservationcounter.com and was able to cancel one room, but as of yet, not counting the other, which will cost almost 200 more, not including the 19 dollar reservation fee they charged! The purpose of our trip was to go with my daughter and her partner, and their little girl for her checkup at the childrens hospital. We are already driving 8 hours round trip for this! The crooks dont seem to care. Hoping we get all of our money back/are able to stop payment to them. Avoid reservationcounter.com at all costs. Boy we live in a messed up world when these types of things co ti ye to happen and no one seems to care!

      I ******d Holiday Inn but instead got Reservation Counter (a trick they used to divert the call from my intended party). Not knowing what happened, I booked the reservation. When I cancelled it, ****** gave me the correct number for Holiday Inn. What I did not know at the time was that I had use Reservation Counter when booking and Holiday Inn for cancelling. Later I found out the **** **** also charged my credit card the day I booked rather than the usual practice of using the card to hold the room only until checking in. So Reservation Counter would not refund the charges. They denied my claim saying that Holiday Inn denied it. On checking with Holiday Inn twice, I affirmed that they did not deny the claim (they were actually really helpful). Reservation Counter stonewalled me from end of April to late July. It seemed the answer was always the same. I made numerous contacts by phone and by email. After they told me by phone that the claim was denied, I protested their false claim that Holiday Inn denied my claim. Then I received an email saying they would investigate further. I finally turned it over to fraud division of my credit card company, who informed that the charge was dropped. I have yet to hear that from Reservation Counter.Bottom Line: Be careful when searching for a motel that you do not get connected with Reservation Counter.
