************ overcharging for hotel rooms. They Debit your credit card the same day you make reservations ensuring they get their money upfront. The hotel receipt amount and what was debited on your credit card show a huge disparity in their favor. Do Not Use Them! They are not a legitimate booking company. If the hotel transfer you to them hang up. Call the hotel again and ask to speak the hotel reservation counter, ie Comfort Inn, Holiday Inn, etc. to make your reservation. They will not refund the difference in what was debited on your credit card vs what the hotel actually charged for the stay. Please dont use this scam site ************ (Reservation Counter.com) to book reservations.Reservation Counter, LLC

?Thank you for bringing this to our attention, ******. Reservation Counter is an online travel agency. We book rooms for over ******* hotels worldwide and assist millions of satisfied customers on a routine basis. We do not contract with hotels directly. Instead, we partner with online travel agencies and sell their listings. We receive our rates from the hotel directly and do not have the ability to modify or change these rates. It appears the hotel supplied you a rate different from the one that they provided us. The contracted rate was agreed upon at the time of booking. Because your reservation was booked with us and not through the hotel directly, we are contractually bound to adhere to the rate agreed upon at booking. I accidentally fell into booking a room with this company due to their ****** Ads. I thought I was still on the hotels reservation service. I booked one room with 3 adults and a child. The confirmation after the booking had erroneous hotel information. Additionally, when I called the hotel, they told me the booking was only for 2 adults and there would be additional fees for the extra people. Reservation Pass, Reservation Counter and TravelPass Group are all scams. Not providing correct information and refusing to make changes to booking or cancellations when they provide wrong info and cause customers to incur additional charges that should not have happened.Reservation Counter, LLC

Had to mark one but really ZERO STARS for this company. This company is a scam company. You have no way to dispute your claim. They make the final decision. My story is that in May 2024 I was found a room on *************, ** with Holiday Inn thru the website. I was given and Phone # to this "Reservation Counter" 3rd party. I told the lady on the phone that I needed a room on the ocean facing the water. She said no problem so I booked the room. We got to the hotel and found out that my room was not facing the water. At this point I was already getting mad due to my specific request on the phone. When this part of the conversation had come up I had already signed and paid for the room. With my unhappiness I requested a refund this is when they said I have to go thru the 3rd part. I called them and everything seemed to be going well so they said that they would call me back in 20 min. SO in the mean time I found another room in a Days Inn facing the water so I booked that room. This was also Reservation Counter to do the booking (not knowing of my future screwing). So we left to the other hotel and enjoyed our evening. Later that week I waited for my refund on the first room and it never showed. So I called them they said my case was being reviewed and it would take 7 business days so I waited, and then still no reply. I called them back and they said they sent me an offer for a 10% refund which would have been $35.70. I said h*** no, so I disputed again and waited another 7 days. I called them back and they said you only get the 10% and that was final. I asked to speak to the Supervisor so she called me back telling me no different than the first lady. They would not connect me to the claims department. So this is dead in the water. SO if you book a room online or phone and it is thru the "Reservation Counter" I issue you a fair warning and do not use this company. I am out of $357.00 for the screwed up reservation for my 32nd wedding anniversary surprise.Reservation Counter, LLC

We booked two rooms for our trip to *******. We told the agent numerous times we needed adjoining rooms because one of the rooms were for small children under the age of ten. When we arrived to the hotel we were told that the rooms were on different sides of a large hotel and different floors. This would be an obvious safety issue with small children. The refused to issue a refund and sold us a product that never existed.Reservation Counter, LLC

I booked a room reservation at the ********************************** for one night through their website however it routed me to Reservation Counter without me knowing. When I checked in and went to my room a couple of hours later there was a loud explosion in the shower and the wall/glass door/shower heads shattered/broke all over the bathroom/entry and bedroom. Needless to say, I checked out and went home, did not stay. The Marriott did not charge me however the Reservation Counter would NOT refund me. So, everyone needs to know that the Reservation Counter are CROOKS and will rip you off. They even received the report from the Marriott of what happened to the room and that I did not stay. I could have been killed if I was in the bathroom at the time of the explosion!!! The Reservation Counter would not refund me!!! The are a BIG RIP-OFF!!!! Do not book through Reservation Counter EVER!!!!Reservation Counter, LLC

0 STARS!!!!I tried to add a day to my reservation and after trying to get the guy to understand what I wanted,he said the only way to do that was to cancel the reservation and make a new one. I told him DON'T CANCEL THE RESERVATION!! I made a reservation for the 2nd night thru them and breakfast was supposed to be included.Well, we get to the hotel for our 42nd anniversary and the reservation had been cancelled.Rebooked at the hotel, had a good time and on the day, we were supposed to check out no breakfast was included. I expressed my frustration and told the manager about what had happened and said I would pay the bill as is and the manager (Hilton Resort at the Peak) took $100 off the bill. Thanked him, said he didn't need to do that.I called Reservation Counter on the day we arrive from the hotel room and explained what had happened about them cancelling the reservation, they took all my information and gave me a reference number and as told I would receive an email from them in ***** hours. Six days later I called them and was told the reference number had not been submitted properly and should hear from them in 5-7 working days.Received an email the next day saying their policy is no refunds on cancellations. They cancelled the reservation not me!!!Called them again and the supervisor will call me back in ***** minutes, as expected they never called me back.Reservation Counter, LLC

BAD BAD REFUND POLICY and EXTRA CHARGES!It was Friday and I needed a room for Saturday night. I found the hotel near my destination and called, what I thought was the hotel (but it was Reservation Counter) to book the room. Online the rooms were $139/night. I booked it and ****, who talked so fast he was hard to hear as he went over the terms - but I did catch that the charge would be $199. I stopped him and asked where the extra $60 came from - again, talking faster than a person can hear, he rattled off a 'list' of charges that I never heard of or was ever charged for before. Told him that is too much. He said they have a hotel in the same town that is cheaper (here I still thought I was talking to the hotel or hotel chain). He described the hotel and gave it a good review so I booked a room even though I never heard of the place before. After I hung up, I looked up the hotel for its proximity to where I needed to be Saturday, and discovered the hotel doesn't have an elevator- I was just in an accident 1.5 weeks ago and need an elevator to get to anything above ground floor for now. I called Reservation Counter (still thinking its the hotel or chain's reservation line) and was put on hold for 20+ minutes (when you call to book, they answer right away). ***** finally answered and I explained my problem - told her I just booked but have to cancel & needed to look at the other hotels amenities before I could rebook a room- as I needed to make sure the hotel worked for my current situation. ***** said there is NO refund at all, for any reason, and then told me she can cancel for a $15 fee, then backtracked and said there is no cancellation fee. She would not even let me change hotels. When I asked for her full name or something like an employee ID, she refused. When I asked for the companies address she told me to look it up online. Now I am stuck and hoping I can even use this room. THESE COMPANIES SHOULD NOT BE ABLE TO IMPERSONATE THE ACTUAL HOTELReservation Counter, LLC

If you are trying to get a refund from this company, you will not. The call center is in ************* and they are trained to give you the run around for weeks on end. They are a complete fraud. it doesnt matter if your claim is legitimate. Yes, they pretend to be the hotel you are trying to reach, yes they book out horrible hotels and lie about the star ratings. Just be careful. Im going to put a claim with my credit card now to see if they will provide a refund.Reservation Counter, LLC

These people are full scammers !! I called a web site phone number listed at a website for Holiday Inn Express in *************** .. When they answered they pose as the actual Holiday Inn site or front desk .. They take all information for the reservation and at the end by having routine charges of additional total of $ ***** + dollars and say this is customary and the Holiday Inn usual charges !! When checking in at the front desk we are informed this was not the actual Holiday Inn site and was intercepted by Reservation Desk ! Non refundable .. called Reservation Desk - no apologies no refund as they report this is no refundable per Holiday Inn Express !! This gives this Holiday Inn Express a lovely hotel and kind front desk a bad review and experience . The Reservation Desk are a scam and have staff you can poorly understand what they are saying and talk very fast !Reservation Counter, LLC

I'm not even sure where to start. This company is such a fraud and a total scam. It's so frustrating we spent 3 hours dealing with them on our vacation. Somehow, we thought we were booking directly with the hotel and they are able to make it seem like you are. But in reality, you are dealing with a third party company who does not have current information about the hotels they are booking for. The representative gave us a rate at the beginning of the call and by the end of the call when she charged our card it was for more than the original quoted rate. I spent the next 3 hours trying to get a refund only to have this company continue to put me on hold and transfer me to different representatives and supposed support staff who were completely useless. At one point during our call, this representative quoted me a rate at another hotel in the area (we assumed they were affiliated) that we found out later is permanently closed. Thank God we didn't book that room because we would have no hotel and would be out hundreds of dollars. The representative promised several things that were not true about the hotel we did book, including amenities, parking rates, and as mentioned previously the room rate. The customer service of this company is the worst I've ever experienced. They literally kept me in the hold queue for hours and when it was my turn they would just put me at the back of the queue again. Once they have your credit card number, forget ever getting a refund of any kind or canceling your reservation. Such a disappointment that a company treats its customers this way with no care whatsoever. Really was maddening to have this experience on our vacation. We will be disputing the hotel charges out of principal. Do not take a chance with this company!!Reservation Counter, LLC
