    I bought solar panels and battery back up from this company a few years ago. I got the solar panels installed, but the battery back up was never done. The battery was the only reason I did any of this. Apparently intermountain wind & solar subbed out the job to another company, this company ended up going under, so now inter mountain won’t finish the job. I have emails of them acknowledging all this, but now they won’t even respond to me. I’ve been extremely patient in this, but now I’m not sure what to do…

    IWS was contracted as the installer of the solar system for this project. The other components or offerings were offered by SolarVault and, as part of the total price, Solarvault has been paid in full but has not provided the battery components or the installation of those components. IWS has been trying to negotiate a resolution with Solarvault to resolve this issue. To date Solarvault has promised various solutions but has made no progress.

    I am aware of this, this is the response that I’ve received before. In the end, it doesn’t matter to me who IWS subcontracted out this part of the job to. The money was paid to them, I do not get why they’re making their customer shoulder the consequences of their subcontractor.

    This past summer (2022) I hired Intermountain Wind and Solar to install a solar system with a battery backup on my residence in ********, **. They installed the solar system and it works great, but nobody ever came and installed the battery backup I have paid for. I have called the company and they agreed to refund me the cost of the battery backup, $2500.00, but that was months ago and I still have not received anything. I have called and left messages on voicemail and with the secretary who promised I would be contacted, never happened, so I sent a letter as suggested by an attorney to try and get this problem solved. Still I have heard nothing from this company. I have tried to get this matter taken care of but cant seem to do this without going to great lengths. I had been happy with the work that they have completed but now I just cant get anyone to help me clear up this last issue and Im not real happy with their lack of or willingness to talk with me so we can get it all worked out.
