Three years ago we purchased a puppy from GapView with the option to pay an additional 500$ to have restrictions (ability to register our dog’s puppies with AKC) removed or not pay the 500$ until we breed our dog with with Gapview at which time we would pay a stud fee and have restrictions removed.
We returned June of 2023 to breed our female dog and at the time paid half the stud fee (700$) and were told once the puppies were born the restrictions would be removed and we would pay the additional 700$ to cover the remaining stud fee. Our dog to not get pregnant at this time. We were told to return once she was in heat again and we would only owe the remaining 700$, if she did not get pregnant we would be refunded.
Our dog is currently in heat and I have attempted to call, email and unfortunately unable to get any response from Gapview except from an employee who suggested ***** was struggling to register puppies (red flag).
Upon some investigation and conversation with the AKC I have discovered Gapview is under suspension with the AKC. This means that I cannot breed my dog with Gapview.
I am asking for David Liskey (owner) to remove the restrictions from my dog’s registration so that we can breed her with a reputable breeder and have the ability to register her puppies.I would also appreciate a refund of the 700$ payed last June.

We got a puppy from them less than a week ago and after going to the vet, the puppy has giardia and mange, neither which were discussed with us prior to bringing the dog into our home with other pets and 4 kids. When we brought this up to the breeder, they act like it’s no big deal. They stopped doing vet visits when the puppy was 6 weeks and didn’t sell her until she was almost 4 months. They should have treated her, and the other puppies, prior to selling them. They had so many “left over” puppies from litters that didn’t sell but keep breeding them anyway. It’s a puppy mill and should be shut down. Over $200 and several medicines for a week are needed to make the puppy healthy.

We bought a puppy from gapview kennels a few weeks ago. He had bloody stools so a day after we got him we had a fecal done. We were told he was vetted but I don’t have records proving that so I don’t believe a vet was ever there to treat the pups He had a heavy infestation of roundworms. Coccidia and Giardia. Plus there are so litters of pups and adult dogs Living in filth. Also I have been calling to get a copy of his registration records only to be told today that his litter was not registered so why did they charge the same amount of this litter as a registered litter This is a very shady kennel. If I had not sent a deposit on a pup a year ago I would never have gotten a pup from them. They have way too many dogs. Older litters that are fighting with each other out of frustration. It’s no more then a puppy mill. I want to be reimbursed for at least 1/2 of what we paid as we were lord to. And our pup was obviously sick but they hid it well.

The blood in the stool we treat right before they leave.  She has the medical records.  Round worms come from the mother's milk and very common in dogs.  She has the parents, sire and dam lineage.  We don't give AKC registration so that they can't breed the puppy.   Because of the lineage which are all AKC registered proving that the puppy comes from AKC lineage therefore, knowing the lineage the cost is the same.
