      My god where to begin. Well the monopoly is still a problem. Im quite frankly beyond words for this company. So we get upsold to get whole home. It was great for a year. Just recently they did security updates to their erro. Now my internet doesnt work on all my devices. I have 2 oculus systems that solely run on wifi. Without wifi they are 2 pretty paper weights. Have had a tech come to this house quite literally 4 times in the last 2 months and when they cant answer why it will stream movies but not music. I can use the internet but as soon as it tries to load any graphic, buffering and then say i cant connect. I had to get extra hotspot on my mobile phone just to use internet. Then you come into my home look me in the face and tell me i have too much internet. Really too much now. The lies they are trained to say to the customers isnt working anymore. So when shentel reads this. I hope they get lit. The are abusive and are literally getting away with telling their own customers its not shentels systems its fine, but its your devices. Just writing this review has rocked my mind. If you think for one second your reckoning isnt coming. Well come at me bro. Im ready. Its coming. I will report you till you are held for the lies and money you have stole from people. Normal people, hardworking people who use the internet for everything cant use the service you have monopolized cause your system works. Right thats what you say. You are terrorists and claim you care about your own customers.
      Those erro already have network management on them. Shentel disables the feature so you cant tell what devices to connect to what erro you need. You told me you dont offer network management to customers. Seems very illegal to me. We have to call you to get devices to connect to our internet. We have to ask you and tell you we own these devices. You are dangerous people. Remember reckoning!

      I am getting the speeds I pay for. I am concerned that when signing up for their service, at no point is the customer told that Amazon devices are being added to our home network. And I'm learning today that *** doesn't offer any real technical support for the **** devices they install.
      It's a bit gross to not tell you when getting the service that they can't actually provide support for an additional service I pay for each month.

      Shentel is now charging their customers $2.50 a month , unless they use Auto pay. I would like to know if they have a right to do this.

      Shentel is the only company in the Shenandoah Valley that offers internet. They over price their services and force you to get a landline. They even tell you they're going to charge you to come out and fix your connection but only if it's non-Shentel related. The customer service reps really aren't helpful and they won't have techs come out and do service on weekends.
      Absolute horrible company that shams its customers. Overcharges and cannot give adequate services. We are trapped here.

      We closed our account in July, returned the equipment and paid the final bill. Here it is two full months later and they are still adding to the bill, saying we haven’t returned equipment and are saying that we still owe monies. As soon as I was willing to show email where I had returned the equipment they SUDDENLY saw on their end where we didn’t owe for that. The apparently tacked on additional monies for some make believe late charges. I will gladly pay $15 to be done with them!!!

      I would advise anyone to not use Shentel as a provider for anything. I have their internet service and it stays off more then on. But they want their money when it comes due. They just simply suck there is no other way to say it without getting to harsh.
