Food Guards Pro has been the subject of a BBB advertising challenge that was brought to their attention by the BBB referencing the company’s website advertisement.
Specifically, the company’s use of the claims “100% Eco Friendly” and “Satisfaction Guaranteed” were unsubstantiated and do not meet Code of Advertisement Guidelines.
According to the guidelines: “When using "guarantee" in product advertising, the advertiser must clearly and conspicuously include a statement on the guarantee terms on the advertiser's website. Also the use of “100% Eco Friendly” claims require the advertiser to possess competent and reliable evidence (often scientific evidence to support all environmental benefits.”
On March 1, 2024 BBB requested written clarification from the company regarding this advertisement challenge. To date, Food Guards Pro has failed to respond to the BBB regarding these ad challenges.
