    I contracted with Galindez painting to repair rotted wood and repaint the exterior of my house last year. They completed initial work last November. When ***** came to collect the check I told him that an area on the deck where they used wood filler to repair had gotten rained on and damaged and needed to be redone. ***** assured me this would be fixed and I paid on good faith of that being completed. It is now nearly August and that work has not been finished. In addition portions of trim have cracked and I asked ***** to fix or at least let me have a gallon of paint matched to the color so I could do it myself. I have a series of texts where ***** promised to come by just that it was "kind of crazy right now". His last communication reply said he was sure he would get by this week. That was months ago. I tried further text but he does not respond. This job was many thousands of dollars and the lack of professionalism is astounding. I want them to complete the damaged work I. Good faith as ***** promised.

    We value our customers and would like to express our deepest apologies for this complaint. We have been in touch with this customer and will have the situation corrected this Friday, August 12. We also appreciate this being brought to our attention. Excuses could be offered, but this situation occurred during a hectic time in our business and simply fell through the cracks. This is unacceptable. We understand our biggest advertisers are our past customers. In closing, this has been a great opportunity for us to re-evaluate our communication methods and we will work in earnest to improve them. Thank you.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.
