    There were several problems with my stay at Lansdowne. Although their advertisement at Booking.com said I didn't have to pay until the day I arrived at the property, the monies were immediately charged to my credit card. After several calls to my credit card company, and communications with Booking.com, Booking.com finally revealed that it was Lansdowne that charged my card immediately upon my reservation confirmation online. Despite the statement on their advertisement to the contrary. To the best of my knowledge, the claim on the advertisement about no pre-payment, remains unchanged. This problem was never resolved, and the charge caused me to go over my credit limit because of said charge, as it was unexpected.

    Next you had to pay to park on the property, after the hassle of downloading an app. This also was not mentioned at Booking.com or at Lansdowne's website. I have never encountered this before at a hotel.

    Then when I checked into the hotel/resort, I was asked to swipe a credit card for a supposed $150.00 "hold" to cover any possible additional room charges. This was also a first for me. No additional charges were made to my room, and I checked out on July 16th, 2023. As of this writing, the money has not been returned to my account. It has been 10 days since I checked out, and this is the 8th business day. After numerous calls to Citibank and Lansdowne Resort, I have been assured the problem is on Lansdowne's end. Despite their claims to the contrary. It took them mere seconds to take that $150.00 out of my account, yet after 10 days, it has not been returned to me.

    I will never stay at this "resort" again, and I would not recommend it to anyone that I care about.
