1 starNever engage this company for any service. **************** reps will do sweet talk and make you sign up for annual service contract. After that you will not find a way to cancel this contract. You cant cancel either over phone or by email. If you call them they say, cancellation rep will call back and you will never get call back. Their service charges are exponentially high even if you have annual service contract. It is a total ripoff.Be carefulReview fromJeff W

1 starI live in ********, **. I will not be doing business with *************** again. The technician came out on time and did, in fact, fix my problem. In the process, however, he identified several things that needed replacement in my system that is 13 years old as he was very worried that they are close to breaking. He talked about how my filters were so dirty they were causing problems as well as the fans and compressor. He "looked online" and claimed that they were no longer making parts for my system and that the system would likely need to be completely rebuilt or replaced. I got a second opinion. My filters were in average shape and certainly no abnormally dirty. My system was running ok and there wasn't anything to be concerned about unless I had further problems. If i needed to replace parts, it should not be a problem for my system. I called the offices and they did provide a partial refund of the maintenance agreement I had bought (too quickly). they reduced my refund by the "discounts" that they had given me for the work they did. These days I expect technicians to do a certain level of "selling"; and I understand that they are likely incented. This level of misinformation, however, to take advantage of when a customer has experienced a problem with the system is not acceptable and should not be part of a company's culture and relationships with their customers. I would strongly recommend that people steer clear of this company. This is my first time writing any kind of review as I usually bring my concerns directly to the company (which I did in this case as well). In this case, however, I feel others should be aware of my experience.Review fromAmy

1 starBUYER BEWARE !!! Good evening ******************, ( He is the plumbing consultant at ***************** VA,)Just spoke with my insurance company. They explained to me what is considered fair and responsible when it comes to digging a hole for pipe repairs. You charged me $629.42 per hour /per worker (3) to use a shovel. Typically it is a charge of $1000.-$2000. For the job and you charged me $5664.00. Wow, you really suckered me in. I thought you were a nice, honest and trustworthy man. Boy! Was I wrong. I am a single older women trying to make ends meet. When I am 67 years old I will still be paying this 3 year loan because you charged me 3 times the reasonable rate. I thought you said since I signed up for ***************** annual membership at an annual fee of $167.00 that I was getting a 15% discount. Shame on you taking advantage of hardworking people in bad situations. I guess thats how you roll. So sorry for you that you are this type of person. I will pray for you so that you do not continue your evil ways.? AP I emailed this to ****************** expressing my total disappointment in being taken advantage of. He comes across like a real nice guy but beware he is fast talker and tells you things that are not true.Review fromAlex D

1 starzero. This company is unethical and doesnt tell the truth. Our money was taken in May of 2023, yet they will NOT provide the service we paid for. This company thinks it "optional" to provide service they were already paid for. They wont even return a call from the "customer care" representative. They lie about what services they offer. I see the the review before mine, just 7 8 days ago, also talks about bad business practices. Ill have to file a compliant, I guess with the consumer affairs agencis of Delaware. 1 302 598 0139Review fromJoe H

1 starConsumer Alert: Beware of ***************** Consumers are advised to exercise caution when dealing with the **** company *****************. Based on a recent customer experience, it appears that ********************* technicians and sales team will attempt to upsell customers on products and services they do not actually need and they pretend its critical as the system can fail at any moment. In one reported case, a customer called ***************** to address an issue affecting the cooling on the 3rd floor of their home. The ***************** technician claimed there was nothing they could do after tinkering with the system and checking the attic duct . The company then sent a "con artist" salesperson who aggressively pushed the customer to purchase a new $25,000 dual **** system, even when the customer indicated they needed to consult their spouse. However, when the customer had a second **** company evaluate the issue, they found that the problem was simply a disconnected supply line, which was fixed for only $175. This suggests that ********************* technicians and sales team may be working on commission and therefore have an incentive to recommend unnecessary and expensive upgrades. On June 27th customer spoke with General Manager ************************* who could careless about the issues and stated "We will see how long the system last with your $175 fix" Consumers are advised to be wary of ********************* sales tactics and to always seek a second or third opinion from other reputable **** companies before making any major purchases or repairs. It is important to be an informed and cautious consumer when dealing with **** services to avoid being taken advantage of. You have been warned!!!!Review fromRobert L

1 starSaturday, June 1, 2024 - I call **** to request a service call for my property in *******. Was told it was too late for a service call that afternoon but that it could be scheduled for a later Saturday. We agree on Saturday, June 15.Friday, June 14, 2024 -Because it is a 3-hour drive from my home in ******** to ******* (and because the cost of gasoline and tolls for the one-way trip is about $40), I call **** before departing ******** at 11:16 AM to make sure that I am still on the schedule for a service call the next day. I am assured that the appointment is in the books and that I can expect a phone call with an ETA for the technician.Saturday, June 15, 2024 - Not yet having heard from **** with an ETA, I call them again at 1:35 PM. I am informed that I am still to expect the technician and that I would receive a phone call to inform me of the ETA.Not yet having heard from **** with an ETA, I call them again at 3:02 PM. This time I am informed that I am NOT scheduled for an appointment this day because **** never schedules service calls of a non-emergency nature on weekends. WHAT? What about the information I received during my previous three calls? This is just simply unacceptable. Unprofessional. Unconscionable.Later, I receive a call from ****, asking how things are going. I give the rep a piece of my mind, explaining to her exactly what I have described above. She tells me she will attempt to secure a $75 coupon towards my next service call. But since I can only get to ******* on weekends and, since **** doesnt make service calls on weekends, what good would a $75 coupon do?Sunday, June 16, 2024 - For more than half a year I have been paying **** $13.95 monthly to be considered a member of the so-called ****************** Plan which I was under the impression entitled me to priority service. I have now learned that not only have I not purchased priority service, I am unable to obtain service at all. $13.95 a month. Caveat Emptor.Review fromCraig M

1 starThey are woefully mismanaged. Had a pump and tank replacement. The tech didn't check the voltage and cooked the new pump. In both the initial install and the one they were bringing to replace it, first thing in the morning turned into somewhere around dark. Meanwhile waiting around and no water.Review fromRichard G

1 star********************* maintenance contract is a complete scam. The company charges $13.95 a month and does little to schedule a bi annual inspection for a heat pump. If you even mention an issue - which I did - that it seemed that it had troubles reaching the thermostat level - they refuse to schedule an inspection and insist someone will only come out for an inspection call and you have to pay $97. Safe your money and go with another provider.Review fromPaul H

1 starIs a very bad company to deal with invoice problems and to have things removed. It has been since april that i have wanted to have them come and remove my UV air purifying system and talk about over chargeing me for work done on my invoice. I have called and they have e-mailed customer relations which they said would call and email me about my problem. To this very day they say the same thing when I call. Nothing is getting done.Dont use for anything. P ******Review fromSandra J

1 star************* is a horrible company to use for ****, plumbing and electrical services. For years, my mother had a service contract with a local company with no problems. This local company was bought out by ************* in 2023. Problems then began. An issue with electrical outlets in the home were pointed out to the electrician during the electric inspection. Result -- nothing. Nothing was recommended to be fixed nor changed. **** - problems with the **** were found. An estimate of $17,000 was given to replace the entire system. A second estimate from another company was obtained. The unit did NOT need to be replaced. Instead, the unit needed to be thoroughly cleaned (which was covered under the contract with ************* but nor performed). ************* attempted the same with me in my home. I have two outlets in my home that always throw the breaker when I plug in the vacuum cleaner. First electric inspection, the electrician said the problem was the breakers; he replaced them. The second inspection, the same electrician said it was a different problem but offered no solution to the problem. Appointments by ************* were not kept after they scheduled them. They failed to show at scheduled time nor did they call to reschedule. Had to schedule **** inspection 3 months out - even though requested the request was placed in March. EXTREMELY unhappy with this company. All they want to do is SELL. Not customer friendly at all.
