    On September 6, 2023 I tried to pay the cost of doing *** Precheck through the IDEMIA website. Their system was malfunctioning and mistakenly charged my account six times for the *** Precheck. I should have only been charged once. I have called the company number numerous times to try to get the five overcharges refunded. Each charge was for $78 so my account was charged a total of $468. After three weeks, the company finally reversed four of the five bad charges. I then received an email on September 22 saying that "all duplicate charges have now been refunded and should be reflected in your bank account or credit card account no later than September 25". I called back in again after receiving the email to remind them that they still owed me $78 for the fifth overcharge, and have called in a couple times since. Each time I have been told they still have a ticket open for my last refund and that it has been "escalated". During one of the calls I was told they had 30 days to complete my final refund. I called back in on October 10 and was again told that my ticket was open and had been escalated and I needed to keep calling to check the status of the final refund. We are now over a month since the bad charges and I have still not received the final $78 reversal or refund to my account, and am tired of being told to call back in to check.

    ***  Customer Service received this complaint on 12/28/2023.  Our records indicate that the first 4 refunds were provided on 9/19/2023, and the 5th refund was processed on 10/27/23.  We attempted outreach to the customer to verify that the 5th refund was received, but reached customer's voice mail.  If the customer has any continued concerns, we recommend that they contact the *** Call Center.
