    I contacted ASAP Wildlife Control & Removal on July 16th to request services for bat removal and to identify how the bats were getting into my home. A team came out on July 18th to perform an inspection. I was out of town at the time, but my partner was there and allowed them attic access. I paid $150.00 for the inspection. When I received the proposal, I noted that there were no pictures of any specific area that showed a gap, crack, or space where bats were possibly getting into my home. Instead, they had taken general pictures of my home, pointing to the roof, flashing around my skylights, flashing around my chimney, roof ridges, louver vents, rakeboards, etc. The technicians never got up on the roof, a ladder, or used a drone to look at the condition of any of the items listed. I was concerned that the inspection did not contain specific detail, but included every possible area of a home that could provide access without identifying any problem areas. After examining the proposal, I had items that I felt were unnecessary removed, which also included an item that was listed twice, which reduced the amount of the proposal from $2800 to $1650. I paid the down payment of $650 on August 1, 2024. We were told that because of the bat mating season, any work to remove the bats could not be performed until the middle of August, which we understood. I called a few days after I made the deposit to get on the schedule. I was told that they would come out in a couple of weeks. I called a couple of weeks later to get an update and I was told that someone should be contacting me the following week. I placed several calls after that and left messages without a return call. My partner called and was told that someone would be out on September 12th. There was no call, no show. I sent an email on October 10th requesting a refund of my deposit. I have not received any response from them.

    I paid a $500 deposit on 07/12/2024 to this company after someone came out to my house to inspect for bats. Since then, Ive only been able to get the owner on the phone 1 time. He called me on a Saturday at 10:30pm on August 17, 2024. The owner was clear under the influence and was asking incredibly invasive questions about my employment and did not set up concrete plans to begin work. No one has come to the house. Before I paid the deposit, he stated on August 1, 2024 (1 month after the bats were found in attic) they would set up a one way door. No one from the company has been to the house. I have been attempting to call the company for a refund and have heard nothing.
