We take all patient concerns seriously and always strive to resolve issues with professionalism and care. In Mr. ******* case, we made every reasonable effort to find a solution that would be fair and accommodating—even beyond what our policies typically allow.Although we were not responsible for the loss of Mr. ******* hearing aid, we still reached out to our corporate office to advocate on his behalf. As a result of that effort, we offered to replace one of the lost hearing aids completely free of charge and provide the second hearing aid at cost—an offer that reflects a substantial discount and a genuine commitment to helping the patient.Despite these good faith efforts, Mr. ***** declined the resolution. At this point, we have exhausted all available options, and unfortunately, we are unable to provide any further accommodations. We went above and beyond to make the patient feel heard and supported, and while we regret that we could not come to a final agreement, we stand by the fairness and generosity of the resolution we proposed.Sincerely,***** ******Customer Answer

We have been going through this issue since October,2024,Beltone has competedly said my husband had lost one hearing aid that was the story they were saying to start off then Beltone said that My husband came in by himself and said he lost one hearing aid and he didn’t leave the hearing aid and took it back home with him,my husband did not take the hearing aid to the office , I took it to the office because they were not working, he left them hear ,furthermore they were not working so he wasn’t able to wear them .My husband works and Oct 8,2024 I took the hearing aids to the office my husband met me there I arrived there at 1:25 i handed her the hearing aids she hooked them up to the computer I assume to test them.my husband did not arrive until approximately 1:40 or 1:45.I have a print out of office history which shows I was there at 1:30 and my husband couldn’t have been there at that time because he doesn’t get off work until 1:30They are constantly lying, saying they had a conversation with my husband discussing a $400 deductible, but there was never a conversation about that because at that point we were just dropping the hearing aids off to be fixed and there was no need to discuss a deductible because they were not lost. After several months passed I called to ask about the status of the hearing aids, the lady that works in the ********* office told me Quote”All the years that I have been working here I have never lost any hearing aids I don’t know if I left them in the ********* office but I will check “unquote Mind you I didn’t even know they had a ********* office. She has told ***** all these lies and he is standing on her word. When all she had to do was say I made a mistake, and I have misplaced your hearing aids, why would my husband or I have to lie about that if He had lost them we would of just said we list them why would we lie about that?Beltone is sticking to that story and saying my husband lost one hearing aid ,******** the lady in the ********* office just recently changed her story she is now saying my husband didn’t even leave the hearing aids with her he took them back home with him,In the mean time we couldn’t get any results from them we had to go another route and we had no choice but to get more hearing aids from another company because my husband’s job knew he was wearing hearing aids so in order to perform his job well he had to hear.At this point we have never ever been so humiliated and stressed out because of Beltone,Just last week he now tells us that he will give us new hearing aids for free, why did he wait all this time to tell us that when he could of said that all along and saved us a lot of heartache and grief, But my husbands hearing was on the line so we had to purchase more hearing aids , at this point I don’t want to deal with Beltone at all and I don’t think I should be made to pay them off for the loan they have put us through hell and I am done with them and further more they are the rudest people I have ever dealt with.******** * is literally trying to cover herself for losing the hearing aids and the charger everything she lost and trying to blame my husband and I.I hope you all can help us. This has really stressed us out I do not want to ever deal with this company ever again. And they are still insisting that my husband lost them, but deep down in their hearts they know they have wronged us, Please help Sincerely ******** *****Business Response

My mother received an ad from Beltone regarding a "field trial" of a "revolutionary" new hearing aid, and that by participating at no cost or obligation, she could purchase the hearing aids at a greatly reduced cost. A free hearing exam was included. My mother went there on April 2nd. After conducting the hearing exam, the "audiologist" Ms. ****** *-********, told her that the trial hearing aids would not work for her, and pressured her into purchasing a pair of hearing aids that cost $8,962 dollars, and had her sign a loan for that amount. My mother wore the hearing aids home, but they kept falling out. Considering the cost and the inadequecy of the product, she returned to the office on April 9th. Ms. *-******** accepted the product, fumbled when opening the case and claimed there was only one there. She said she could not except them until my Mom could find the other one and bring it back. My mother went home with my brother and looked at home, but they were sure that both were in the package when they gave it back to Ms. *-********. I am complaining about the bait and switch tactics used to take advantage of an elderly person, as well as the high pressure tactics used on her to sell her something she did not need. Worse, Ms. *-******** used some slight of hand to remove one hearing aid and claim that my mother lost it. My mother returned the package again on April 16th, and Ms. *-******** insisted on charging her credit card for $731.60 as a "restocking fee".Business Response

Hi There,This issue was resolved almost a year ago. And a refund was given by the practitioner to the patient for the restocking fee. This should already be resolved.Customer Answer
