      Flat Fee, Flat Support ??Weve been long-term tenants at a Flat Fee Landlord property (Tysons location), and everything was fineuntil it came time to renew the lease. Thats when it became clear how little they value tenant relationships.The lease renewal process was rushed and disorganized. Deadlines were unclear and then moved earlier without any direct communication. I got a checklist for moving out before I even decided whether I was staying. When I asked to speak with a manager? Denied.There was also a maintenance issue involving a faulty wall switch that controls the garbage disposal. Instead of addressing it reasonably, they tried to pin it on meuntil finally admitting it wasnt my responsibility, but only after wasting time and emails quoting lease clauses out of context.And yes, Im sure someone from the company will reply here saying theyd love to resolve this or please contact us so we can help. That would be ironic, considering I tried multiple times to speak with someoneincluding managersand was repeatedly brushed off. That outreach should have mattered then, not now.If you plan to rent through Flat Fee Landlord at ******, document everything and manage your expectations. Because when things go sideways, youre on your own.

      Flat Fee Landlord Review 3 Years of Frustration and ************ Ive been a customer of ******************** for 3 years, and I can confidently say this has been one of the most frustrating service experiences Ive had.Throughout the relationship, my requests were regularly ignored, decisions were made about my property without my consent, and communication was consistently poor. They even changed leasing terms without informing me or getting approval completely disregarding me as the property owner.The previous agent was finally let go, but the replacement hasnt been any better. Most recently, I was told I needed to send a signed PDF to terminate a lease but before I even sent anything, they went ahead and terminated the lease without my confirmation. This kind of reckless and disrespectful handling is unacceptable.I would not recommend Flat Fee Landlord to anyone looking for a professional, transparent, or responsive property management company.

      I am a former renter and my landlord used Flat Fee Landlord's services. This company has been extremely difficult to work with. First, by the second month my roomate and I moved in our place became infested with roaches due to an issue with our neighbors above us. We ended up having to pay hundreds of dollars in extermination fees, and 85 dollars bi monthly, for the rest of the time we lived there (2 years). Secondly, any issues with maintenence (unless you can get on the phone with Diana) are an absolute nightmare. Third, any issues or questions with paying rent on will not be answered on the phone because people do not give out their extensions. I'm sure this is intentional to neglect tenant needs. Lastly, move out has been the worst procedure of all. Two months before move out we received no move out instructions. 4 weeks from our move out I emailed Sabri myself to get instructions. As per usual, prompt response did not happen. Once we were given the checklist my roomate and I did EVERYTHING required despite lack of notice. We paid almost 700 dollars in professional cleaning and repainted parts of the walls ourselves. Now we are dealing with a month long battle with Flat Fee regarding correct final payment and our security deposit. On July 1st we were charged over 2000 dollars via the portal for rent and pet rent. When I reached out THAT DAY the issue failed to be resolved until July 6th. Then they had the audacity to charge us a late fee and full month's pet rent in addition to the prorated rent for 2 days. I have been on the phone and emailing asking for this second issue to be corrected and for more information regarding our security deposit. We still don't know if we will get our deposit back or when we will finally be charged the correct amount for rent. It is not our fault that Flat Fee accounting did not change the incorrect bill until after the 5th of the month. My roomate and I are teachers we cannot afford this -2700 mistake from their neglect.
