I recently purchased a home and had ********** inspect it twice. I was told that everything was good and there were no issues. After moving in, my natural gas alarm went off. I called the gas company out and they found a flex line going to the hot water heater was not only leaking but not tightly secured to the hot water heater. I had the issue fixed. The alarm went off again, this time finding an issue with the gas pressure valve on the hot water heater to be leaking. Keep in mind, this hot water heater is located in the attic, and nobody has been in the attic since Linds conducted the inspection. When my central air turns on, it pulls the leaking gas into the vent and distributes it throughout the house. Now, I have a hot water heater that has been red tagged by the gas company and no hot water due to this issue. I'm also stuck with hundreds of dollars in repairs.

I would never use this company again and if you want to avoid over $****** in repairs, you would do the same. We hired them to do our home inspection. The inspector missed exposed live wires, an extension cord spliced in to power a light fixture visible from the attic, rotted out plumbing that was visible under multiple sinks and attic, fire damage that tore through the entire house visible from the attic, foundation rot visible from the crawlspace and that’s just to make a few. Within two days of living in the home, our basement flooded from clogged pipes in the bathroom. We have pictures of everything that’s been discovered in the first 11 months of being in our first home. When I called to discuss issues with the owner, he told me he would come inspect the house himself and never showed up. We were told the inspection was good for a year but that’s a lie. Avoid them at all costs!

I had the worst experience of my life due to the inspection I had done by Lind’s Property Inspection, owned by **** ****. The initial inspector missed SO MANY THINGS! Live electrical wires sticking out of the wall, bathroom vents vented into attic, completely unsupported beams, rotted wood everywhere in the crawlspace, carpeted-over holes in the floor, GAPS that my new contractor could literally fit his hand into my bedroom from the crawlspace, a leaking sewage pipe, lack of “vapor barrier” in many spots, and this isn’t everything. Had I known about any of it, I’d have run the opposite direction.
Look up *** “bad home inspections” on ****** and you’ll see another couple had the same thing happen to them. *** changed their name to Lind’s Property Inspections; both owned by **** ****.
I cannot emphasize how much people need to stay away from this company. What’s worse: my realtor says he uses them for all his clients. If I could give a negative rating I would in a heartbeat.
