    Do not recommend Bug-Masters LLC
    I became a Bug-Master customer in 2020 when Bug-Master absorbed the business of my incumbent Termite/Bug service provider. Upon the start of my service, Bug-Master installed termite bait traps around my house.
    A point of contention throughout the time Bug-Master service my home was the maintenance of two de-humidifiers in my crawl space installed by the original incumbent Termite/Bug service provider. When Bug-Master started my service, they agreed to, and supposedly maintained the de-humidifiers. However, I had to coax Bug-Master repeatedly to remind to them to perform the service.
    Another grievance was Bug-Master’s processing time of payments. It would take weeks for payments to clear.
    In 2022, Bug-Master informed me that they would not maintain my de-humidifiers any longer. I was given a couple of used filters, and was told one of these are for my de-humidifiers. Upon inspection of the de-humidifiers this year, both were not working. I decided to find another company that would perform de-humidifier maintenance, and sent Bug-Master a termination letter in July 2024.
    The new company I hired pulled out Bug-Master’s termite traps (which had become overgrown over the years) and installed new ones on July 29, 2024. Bug-Master’s old termite traps (the ones we could find) were put in a box. Bug-Master stated they wanted them back.
    On October 21, 2024, Bug-Master came to my house when I was not home and pulled the new termite traps out. I called Bug-Master, and was told that those were Bug-Master’s traps, and it was verified by a barcode. Blatant lie.

    I have been a customer for about 10 years and now have a 2nd home they treat, as well as 2 neighbors I recommended. All of us have nothing but wonderful experiences with this company.

    This guy (****) that runs this service has the worse attitude towards customers I have ever encountered. If you ask him a question about a service, etc. he goes off like a jet rocket. He has done this twice during my use of his service. . He is rude and crude! No people/customer service skills whatsoever and is a liar!! He lied about a service that was not provided to me back in February 2024 and I was gone the whole month of February 2024 and attempted to claim he had treated my home and left a bill on my door, which there was not one. Also I was under a contract with him which had expired. Beware!!

    Thank you for the review. Let’s tell the whole story.
    Before I go into detail, I would like everyone that is reading this to know that my company has invested in **** * BODYCAMS and all my trucks have DASH CAMS WITH GPS. All my clients get phone calls the night before service along with a service ticket on the door and email to follow. We do this for several reasons. The largest of which is to back our moto “Build on Integrity.” Our cameras and extensive documentation ensure honesty on both sides of the coin.
    Ms. Liza, you called yesterday about late fees on your bill and stated you always pay on time. I then told you I was in the field and would have to pull over and look you up on my phone. You then made a condescending remark, “Do you run your whole company off your phone?” I told you that I didn’t appreciate the remark, and I would have to let you go and get back with you. You then became disgruntled and told me that I won’t call you back, and I need to provide the information now since you are a client. At that point, I respectfully told you no and that I would call you back before disconnecting the call.
    When I got back to the office, within 5-10 mins of your call, I reviewed your account and in fact, you were late on your payment. I told you that if you had talked to me nicely and not like a dog, I would have no issue waiving the charge. However, this is not the first time you have gotten ugly and confrontational. On June 2, 2022, I had to give you a free service because you were not happy that we couldn’t make it out to your home that day even though we gave you a courtesy call that day to let you know.
    Now, since everything has been told, I did tell you that after the way you have acted, I would be more then happy to accept your cancellation letter as I do not like doing business with people that spread toxicity and ugliness just to get their way.
    In the future, just know the truth will set you free, and you get more with honey than you do with vinegar. Service people do not like getting abused by clients just because you pay them. Just like in this case, it’s better to let the problem go than to endure the abuse.

    *** the owner is the most unprofessional person I’ve ever dealt with. This man has no ability to apologize or sympathize with customers. He was in the wrong then tried to charge us for it. After discussing it with him at first he agreed to waive the fee. Then months later sends a bill, years go by and then sends another bill, 4 years after he sends another bill!
    We had a bug contract with them, what he used to put down was fine. The time in question him or one of his guys used an obscene amount of some granule bug stuff instead of the spray in my backyard and porch. I got home and notice that after letting my dog out his eyes were closed and watering really bad. I took him to the vet, she asked about anything new is his environment. Of course, i remembered they just came out. Looked around and notice all the granules everywhere, had to sweep them all up and wash as much off the grass as we could. After hundreds of dollars ?? in vet bills, I called and asked about the chemical, read about its harm to pets. He knew we had pets, we complained and cancelled the contract. Jon agreed to not charge for the treatment and canceled the service with attitude. I even sent him the vet bills. This was in 2019.
    After months of nothing we get a letter about the bill, have to have another conversation with him. He argues and is so rude. Then we hear nothing till 2022. Call again and the guy was so rude and cussed at us on the phone. Now got another letter in 2023. What the heck! This is the worst business ethic I’ve seen. Harassment, never let him talk you into a contract! This was a $*** service, the bill now says we owe him $****! I’ll be talking to my lawyer tomorrow!!!

    Jessica thank you for your review and I would like to say first that I’m truly sorry your puppy was taken to the vet.
    You received a call ahead notice the night before letting you know we would be coming out to treat like all the times before. I began treating the side of your home and worked my way to the back. When I got to the backyard I heard barking and notice both your dogs were inside near the sliding glass door. I completed the granular treatment since it was winter time and hung the ticket on the front door as always.
    That being said when I first heard about the issue I supplied you with all the documents that you needed and told you if it the vet place in writing that it was my product that was the issue I would pay for everything and void the service ticket. When I talk to your vet on the phone. I ask them if it was anything I applied and if so to please , put in writing they said that they couldn’t as it could have been anything.
    This has happened many times in my 23 years of something happening and the first person to blame is the bug man. I understand why people do this and I have an open mind to it. That’s why I try to help out as much as possible to get to the end result. With that said I please want you to remember the last time we spoke and you said and I quote “Your a business and it’s only $*** , why don’t you just write it off.” I was will to work with you until that comment. I am open to have another discussion with you as maybe you had a bad day the day we spoke. If you choose to go to attorney then I guess we will figure this all out in court. Wish you nothing but the best and I’m so glad your puppy is better now.

    I started with them back in June of 2015. Best decision I ever made. they have great tech,s that will take the time to explain and help. If I ever have a question i can call the owner at any time and if i get his voice mail, he will call me back. go and find that somewhere. Iam very happy with BugMasters and would recommend them to anyone
