      I hired this business to do some basic plumbing work in a basement I was finishing we agreed to a quote they provided as well as a fixed hourly rate for any work that fell outside of that fixed scope covered by the quote. This business has completed some, but not all of the work included in the quote (we agreed on the basement plumbing and ductwork items only). For example, the final sink faucet in bathroom has not been connected, final bar sink has not been done, and final plumbing inspection has not been done. In addition, during their work, their plumbers made self-admitted mistakes which led to a flood of sewage coming into my basement. This caused water damage to personal property and tools that I had stored there, as well as impacting the wallboard, wood, and we have yet to see how it impacts the hardwood floors. I spent days cleaning it up, mitigating it with bleach, and throwing things out. I immediately contacted them when the flood happened and they came the next day and made some repairs but now their boss is claiming the flood did not happen and that no damage occurred and they are refusing to make any billing adjustment for this. Furthermore, they only today sent me a bill for the first time but are claiming it is overdue and have included multiple service charges on this bill. Finally, their bill is not detailed or clear at all - it has a $11,000 line item with no detail or explanation of what is included in that or how they came to that amount (number of hours + % of quote that was completed so far etc.)I am requesting that they provide a detailed bill, provide a billing adjustment to take into account the sewage flood they caused, that they remove the late fee/service fee charges, and that they finish the full project.
