      We hired Haim to refresh a waterproof coating on the balcony.He suggested increasing the scope of the project and not only to refinish the floor, but also replace some of the boards underneath. We didnt mind as we just wanted to get done with it. Haim originally said it could be done in 1 or 2 visits, 3 maximum. We paid $2200. The work started Nov 2023. Haim's employee never knew what needed to be done and would improvise on the spot. He chose to replace a single floor board with 2 adjacent ones, which just introduced another point where the water could get under the floor. We asked Haim why that decision was made and whether he could just make it a single board, but he never responded to that. Next day the guy put flashing on top of the boards but didnt secure it, so there are half inch gaps in areas where the water would naturally collect at. Without any reservations, the guy just put layers of coating on it. When we asked what he was planning to do with literal holes collecting water, he put caulking in ******* day, it rained. So the entire balcony just became a massive puddle with water not running down the balcony as it should, but instead collecting on the floor. Caulking dissolved and smeared all over the floor in huge stains. Haim came in, said everything looked good and checked out.A few days later, gaps between the flashing and the floor started becoming even bigger. White caulking smeared stains covered the entire floor. Puddles wouldnt dry up and more water accumulated on the floor. Haim sent his guy back but no resolution was made and the guy was unequipped and uninformed as to how to solve the problem. After a few months, the balcony floor looks worse than it was before they started the work. Tried reaching out to Haim, but he was unresponsive until we wrote a negative public review. This is despite promising to fix any issues within a year.
