Currently a customer and have enjoyed my service up till now. I recently received a bill with a $55 increase. Once called I was placed on hold and the duration of the call was 58 minutes. I was told it was due to a expired promotional deal. They then went back and forth trying to get me to spend more money with them and increase the plan. I intend to look to other providers such as Starlink. Recommend looking to carriers with better practices who value their customers.Astound Broadband powered by Wave

The same thing happened to me. My entire chat log is saved except for the conversation where a new rate was quoted by an agent. The part is missing in between two attempts to fix remote and service TiVo box. I got the bill that didnt have the new rate and there is no history or notes in my log. They are telling me they cant do anything, so Im paying $50 more than what I was told and thats the best they can dothe agents say they cant see any past chats, but one agent looked back and quoted something from previous chat with my husband. LIARS! I have screen shots but now I just need to find the right people to look at it. How is it possible to see history of all chats for over a year but the one area I needed is deleted. Astound Broadband is the scariest business I ever came across in my life. This company has so many deceptives was to "milk" you dry with all sorts of fee and fine. It is almost like a fraud company. I don't know here to begin. I think The ** Attorney General should look at the way they do business, In May this year I was bill $114 for one time charge payment when my monthly bill is only $39.72. This is the second time I was fine when I know I always pay my bill on time. I have an excellent 820 credit rating.Please don't be fool by the $25 promotion they get you back later.Astound Broadband powered by Wave

I attempted to cancel my service and was offered a loyalty credit if $20 per month for 12 months. Upon review of my subsequent statements the credit did not appear. When I requested it to be applied retroactively they said my account had no notes or calling in ever and additionally that they could only offer that rate for 3 months and not retroactively. I had the chat logs and exchange time I send them they said there was an error opening it. I repeatedly asked for an email or to speak to a supervisor which each time the request was not answered. They are fairly expensive and yet are the only option in my neighborhood. They raise my rate all the time, and I have to threaten to cancel to get them to bring it back down.They just recently started charging a small fee ($3) to make a payment over the phone. They also charge a fee to pay on their website ($2). This is on top of all their services fees and nonsense on their invoice. The only free payment options snail mail and downloading their app. Basically they will squeeze you for every dollar they can.Astound Broadband powered by Wave

The gaming experience is absolutely terrible. I have to wait hours and maybe even days for a game to download; meanwhile, my friends have the same game downloaded in less than thirty minutes. I called them and apparently im on the best plan, but im starting to believe that im paying for the best plan, and getting absolute garbage. to further add to this pathetic service, watching on demand tv show has me running at 720p and if they really want to spice it up, 480p. i went as far as searching up ways to better this hunk of junk and *** tried EVERYTHING, but still little to no change. now im gonna change internet service providers. if youre thinking on getting astound, i recommend you dont.Astound Broadband powered by Wave

Yet another Astound outage. Outages multiple times a month which is extremely challenging for online school and working from home. Called customer service and employee clearly working from home as her kids were screaming in background. Unable to provide an estimate of when service would be back. No reimbursement provided for frequent outages. Our service was so much better under Wave compared to Astound. Ready to find a new internet provider.Astound Broadband powered by Wave

Cost is too high, claims to have fiber optic service then after instal informs there is no fiber optics in the area. Claim to have 1.2 GB service and can only max out just a little over half that at about 850 gb. Has multiple outages and does not compensate for the outages. Had better service with a smaller company in harder place to provide serves. Never had random outages before like this. Can't even work from home with this happening.Astound Broadband powered by Wave
