I have been with Wave broadband for 10+ years. There customer service was great but now that they are Astound it's c*** I called them to lower my bill, they would give me a decent price which I would get to pay for 1 month and then it doubles by the second month. I'm tried of being lied too. I can't afford what they want just for internet. Gonna start shopping around for new internet.Astound Broadband powered by Wave

I think your customer service is awful. Any time I talk to them I never get a straight answer. I had WOW for over 20 years and was always stratified. Looking for another company for my services.Astound Broadband powered by Wave

Intermittent internet for the last few weeks. Inconsistent outages and lengths of outages. First call weeks ago, theyre working in your area. Second call, should we get a new modem - No, just working in the area. Third call, maybe its the modem, we have problems with ********* Trip to their offices to pick up new modem, no change. Fourth, fifth and sixth calls, the problem persists with no help or end in sight. Might just have to rent a room somewhere nice to watch a bowl game, and take it off their bill. It is impossible to get a human operator for technical support. I have been having non-stop issues with my phone and internet and each time I call, the automated operator tells me I can solve my problem by re-booting my system at home. This hasn't worked. After several very long-delays I finally talked to a human who read from her script and said she would re-boot my system and if that didn't work, we could schedule. I said "no". We have been that route several times. I finally got her to schedule an appointment for over a week away. I told her my neighbor was having the same issues and she said, "there are no reported outages in your area". So frustrating. I think it is time to explore other options!Astound Broadband powered by Wave

When Astound was Wave, they were great! But now? Ever since Astound took over my bill bas been increasing non-stop (with no notice that it would happen), and I'm constantly having outtages. Seriously considering moving elsewhere.Astound Broadband powered by Wave

With award winning customer service youd think ******************** would -at a minimum- email customers or post updates on social media. ******* has had no internet service for going on 4 days. How does that not trigger a response to your customers. You have an opportunity to try to make this better by acknowledging the inconvenience and giving updates. For days now, your phone tree says youre expecting a fix within 2 hours. Obviously that is not true and shows a disregard for the intelligence of your customers.Astound Broadband powered by Wave

We do apologize for any recent unforeseen interruptions in your service. Our Network Operations will always ensure restoration to those impacted by an outage within the quickest possible time frame. At present we do not offer customer visibility on outages via a online outage board. "AUTOMATED" restoration times may be obtained by calling **************. Times provided are ESTIMATES ONLY, and may update based on the progression of restoration efforts. You can reach a live agent through the Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system by either saying ****************** or pressing "0". Since during a service outage tech support queue's for the area will be unavailable and thus the system may not auto connect you to an agent. Customers may also live chat on the website, or our social media on ***************** On occasion we may post information or details on social media ****************** for customer visibility if the outage is high impact. I've had Wave for almost 10 years and while it was the locally owned Wave, service was great. Since being bought by Astound, service is out days at a time. **************** is robotic and scripted. I was told that there is an outage in my area and when I called later, I was told there is no outage in my area and that a technician would need to be sent out with a cost to me of $80. H*** no. I'm not paying anything extra for problems on YOUR end. Definitely going to be cancelling my service.Astound Broadband powered by Wave

Internet keeps disconnecting and I need internet to work from home. They said it will take 5-7 business days to send someone to look at my internet issues. I am going to cancel service now. That is ridiculous time to get internet fix when I need it for work. Internet stop working for days seems very common with this company.Astound Broadband powered by Wave
