Over 24hrs with no Wi-Fi. **************** is unreachable. Their ******* account is ran by bots that dont answer any questions. People have lost full days of business and those who work from home have lost important hours. This company needs to be held accountable for the way they have treated this situation. Still no ETA on a fix 24+ hours later.Astound Broadband powered by Wave

- 10 Star - I am very new to Astound. But NOT to gimmicks and cons. I feel I was conned into a deal, where only Astound is the winner. I signed up for the cheapest home internet 'deal'. Funny, someone over there can't count. $25 means $25, not $30. I was signed up for auto pay & ebill. So I don't get where the extra $5.00 comes into play. I DON'T TIP my cable/internet providers!! Outrageous!Here's the good part. I went all in for the $10 landline. I wasn't told my cell had to be compatible to downloading the WAVE app in order to complete installation. The installation provider was kind enough to use his cell to start my service. But leaving me in a situation that IF I wanted to remain with them for ALL the package I signed up for, I will have to purchase a new cell. The kicker, is I also took cell service. And get this, I can't use my cell away from home!!! LOL - Not funny!!What's the point in paying $40 for an Unlimited plan, when you can't make a single call UNLESS you are at home. So as I have been shopping for a cell provider that fits my budget and is compatible with my phone. I had decided to look up reviews AND COMPLAINTS for this company. Only wish I would have done this BEFORE I ordered this service and switched my cell out of it's previous provider. My tale only gets better. The moment I made my 1st payment, my home internet kicked off. I had to trouble shoot to get it to even flicker. Since then, it disconnects often. I remember seeing in the fine print that ASTOUND does NOT guarantee connection. WHAT AM I PAYING THEM FOR! I now have blotchy service, I'm absolutely NOT happy! Got my money, though.My final grievance is the bill. My 1st one, thus far was less than straight. I got one saying 1 amount, then after receiving my sim card, it was another. I thought that the latter was a combined amount for all items, right. Nope! they charged me $33 to start, then an additional $70'ish to boot. I've done the math, it doesn't make sense. I canceled my service with astound on November 30, 2023. It is now January 4, ****. I had over paid my account and was supposed to be getting a refund of $28.54 it has been 23 business days and I still have not received a refund. I am not happy with this experience at all so glad I canceled my service with this company because this is ridiculous. This company needs a better processing system. It is not effective. Im surprised they can keep any customers.Astound Broadband powered by Wave

Awful customer service. Their paperless billing is a great example. To verify your account you need a random pin from your last bill. But you don't get your bill by email, you need to log in to see it. To log in you need the pin from the bill that you need to log in for. They have no answer when this issue is pointed out to them, they just generate you a temporary pin. Their FAQ pages (like the **** FAQ) have no actual questions or answers on them, they're blank. Nobody there cares. I am switching immediately.Astound Broadband powered by Wave

Absolutely predatory and manipulative. I also experienced the Bait and Switch exploitation that Wave has been applying to loyal customers. I have been with Wave for years and had no problems until most recently this year. I agreed on one price and then they bumped my bill back up to a higher rate. No notification was made by the company for any sort of rate increases. This is absolutely unacceptable.Astound Broadband powered by Wave

Bait and Switch.We've had Astound for years but were recently bait and switched on our plan.We have been loyal customers of Astound for several years, enjoying their reliable service, even in our rural location. BAIT Upon noticing a sudden increase in our monthly rate, I promptly engaged in a chat with a representative. To my relief, they identified a new plan priced at a more reasonable ~$55 per month. Pleased with this resolution, I expressed my intention to continue with Astound.SWITCH Regrettably, my optimism was short-lived when I received a bill at our previous rate of more than $105. Seeking clarification, I contacted customer support to rectify the discrepancy. To my dismay, I was informed that the initially discussed plan was no longer available, and an alternative offer of approximately $75 per month was presented. This switch from our agreed-upon terms has left me disappointed and soured on Astound. CANCELLED I have cancelled with Astound and suggest you take your business elsewhere.Astound Broadband powered by Wave

Wavecable, which became Astound, was the Internet/cable provider for my home as well as my parents and in-laws. Speeds are decent and reliability ok for rural WA. My home only needed basic Internet, so we took the lowest cost option. We were paying $25 introductory rate for one year. After introductory year prices continually rose to over $82 for basic Internet about 2.5 years in! After the Astound takeover the excellent customer service of *************************** was changed to a call/chat center of Astound that made me wait between 15 minutes to an hour, just to CHAT with a real customer service person. Recently, ******** came to town with 5G Internet with $50 per month rate lock. Faster speed and reliable. I asked Astound to beat the ******** deal in price. Unwilling to change. So I quit Astound.
