I purchased liposuction on my stomach. I was told that I had to pay more Because the procedure would require multiple surgeries. They completed the first procedure and then refused to treat the rest of my stomach. There were parts they did not even treat. When I asked about getting the process completed, they told me that there was only skin there. They refused to do any more surgeries, even though I had purchased the guarantee and they told me they would. I went back twice and asked them to complete the surgery and they would never admit additional procedures were needed, I also had to deal with a lot of racism and discrimination there. I was told by the manager that they did not care what my results look like because I had a high BMI and I was Mexican. I reported this to. ************************* she told me that Mexicans could not be racist, and she did not believe me because she knew the manager. She also said that she would not help me to complete in the other surgeries because I had not done it in the first year. I explain to her that I requested additional surgeries in the first year, and they simply would not comply with me. She stated she would not offer me any remedy. My stomach was left a certain area as it had no fat and other areas that were totally untreated. It was lumpy and inconsistent.I also paid to have my growing treated. The doctor stated that they were running out of anesthetic and could not give me more anesthetic. The procedure in the area is so painful that they could not complete the procedure. They did half the procedure and quit. They refused to go back and complete the procedure and simply denied that they ran out of anesthetic. When I explain this to *************************, she told me that simply was not true, but its clear to see that the procedure was only halfway done.Business Response

the date of the transaction is 06-14-24 8700,00 was charged to my mastercard endind in 8089.my wife was scheduled for surgery with Sono Bello, Before the surgery she didn't pass the exam due to High Blood pressure. She went to her doctor and her doctor said she couldn't have the surgery. I called Sono Bello requesting a refund and they just gave me the run around.I called the second time and spoke to ********* who is there nurse she said she needed clearance from my wife doctor it doesn't make sense to me. I kept seeing ads for Sono Bello and knew I could possibly use their services. When you contact them online it makes you "chat" with someone through a message box. After finding out that the closest location was three hours away, I still made an appointment. Drove all the way, met with someone who immediately said, you're a perfect candidate! I sent a cashier's check for the initial deposit and called her with a credit card for another amount. The date was picked, I took off of work, found a place to stay because the surgery center was another hour and a half away. Drove all the way to my pre-op the day before and after waiting one hour and 45 minutes in a freezing exam room wearing nothing, was probed by the doctor who said I needed to drive all the way back home (three hours +) because she felt a possible hernia. I had a CT scan when i got home and was told by sono bello that they can't do the surgery. I asked for a refund and was told they would give my paperwork to someone to do that. No calls, so i called again today and was told that someone would get back to me right away, still nothing. I tried to contact my consultant from the first visit and she left the company weeks ago and I have no one helping me anymore. I need my money back so I can have hernia repair surgery.Business Response

Deposit Paid $1000.00 6/20/2023 Remaining balance paid $13,022.38 6/30/2023 The above amount were paid to Sono Bello for my liposuction and skin removal procedure. Went to have procedure done on 9/14/2023 I was promised a successful procedure. Never met doctor until day of procedure. He flew into for the day apparently. During procedure, at one point I complained of pain and was told to be quiet as I was upsetting other patients. It was a terrible experience. After I was home for several days, I called to report that I thought I had an infection. I was told to send pictures. After insisting to see a doctor, I was ask to come into office. At that point I saw a different doctor than the one that did my surgery. He scolded me for cleaning my incision. He did prescribe antibiotics for the infection. On follow up visits, I was told swelling would go down and all was fine. We are now several month out from surgery and all swelling has subsided. The result is nothing like I was promised.i reached out to schedule a follow up to complete the process as I was instructed to do. At that point I was given the run around with scheduling and results. I reached out to Sono Bello ************* After a couple of phone conversations, I ask that any further discussion be via text. That way I could document the lies being told. I was told someone would call to schedule. That never happened. The person at corporate office reach back out. When I told her I was not comfortable with the ********** location, they did offer to let me do a different location. However, they could not tell me which doctor I would be seeing. At this point, I do not believe anything they say. Sono Bello did offer a goodwill gesture of refunding $2000.00. That is totally unacceptable for what they have done to me. Due to their misleading promised and continued lies, I would never go back to them. I did request my medical records from them on 6/18/2024 to date I have not received themBusiness Response

I went to Sonobello (tacoma, wa) for a consultation for a double chin and fat jowls. In the consultation I was asked to stand in front of a mirror and the lady said I should also have lipo on my abdomen area. She made me feel pretty bad about myself since I am an influencer and kept saying how I can look better and that I was a prime candidate for this and how good the results would be. Suddenly I went from wanting a little lipo under my chin to a full body makeover. I told her I couldn't afford all the areas she was suggesting and left. She later reached back out and said she could lower the price if I would do my chin, abdomen and waist and that if I paid asap I could get a discount and do it in a few days. I went ahead and did it as by now I was feeling pretty bad about myself. Anyway, I went to the pre op and again was told I was an ideal candidate and would do great. I went to surgery and found out they couldn't do it all in one day so had to go back twice. The second time I could feel everything. The results are terrible, un even and lumpy and still so much "bulk" everywhere. I went back and they said well we cant get it all, you'll need to do it again AND have skin removed. They never said at the beginning or even the middle that they wouldn't be able to take care of it all. They then said that for another 20k they could "fix it". Im more unhappy than I was before the surgery, I look awful, and feel like they lied and misled me into thinking I would have good results. Even if I have extra skin, they never told me they wouldn't get all of the fat from the treated areas. I spent so much money and you when I have clothes on I look the same as before, and when I have clothes off, I look lumpy, uneven and disgusting. I came in for a consult in April 2024. The person I spoke with made me feel very comfortable, but made it out to be that the Lipo was nothing to be worried about. On April 8th, I paid $3506.50. After going to my consultation, there were so many different things that I was being told. It sounded way more risky and I did not feel good about it at all. All the after-care things they told me were NEVER mentioned at my first appointment. After leaving my consultation, I called and cancelled my appointment. They refunded me $1011.50 out of the $3506.50 I paid. They refused to refund me the rest. If I do not get this resolved, I will take legal action. This is disgusting that your business feels comfortable taking money from people for absolutely nothing.Business Response

On June 3, 2024 I had an initial consultation in ***************, IA I decided to move forward with the procedure which I scheduled pre-op July 11th & surgery on the 12th & could only be done in *****, **. I paid a deposit of $1786.75 at that time. I was advised that the procedure would take place in *****, **. On June 4, I received notice from my landlord that my rent did not process through due to lack of funds in my account. I contacted the bank who informed me an another charged from Sonobello in the amount of $1213.25 was just applied I immediately notified the local office and was advised they billed me in error for the second amount and then I would receive a refund, but not to pay my rent until the issue was resolved. After several days of my attempts to resolve this issue, the $1213.25 was placed back in my account. July 11 I drove to ******** for my preop appointment with the physician and went through all the information and scheduling for the surgery to have in the next day, but due to a issue with my health, they were unable to perform the surgery at that time. Not only did I use my vacation time from work, I had to rent a car and pay for a hotel room I woke up on the 13th to a new charge on my credit card in the amount of $12,027.59 for the cost of a survey I never had. I made several phone calls to the Omaha and Des ************* and I have yet to receive one phone call back regarding this issue or any money back into my account. I have tried to locate a number for the corporate office, which is impossible with this company so I am unable to speak to anyone except an operator who answers the phone.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:
All of the money collected my SonoBello has not been refunded to me their documents state if they decide not to perform the procedure I would receive a refund. My credit card still has a $27.15 balance for interest charges for Surgery. I never had I want a full refund of all of the money I spent, or all of the money they took out of my account

My wife and I visited Sono Bello on July 8th and ended up putting down a $100 deposit for a procedure. My wife setup an appointment for a few days out. After speaking with her pulmonologist, she was advised not to go through with the procedure.I explained this to the person that accepted our deposit and I was told we would need a doctors note explaining in detail her medical issues and refused to return the deposit. The details are not their business and not a reason to withhold return of my deposit.Business Response

On July 5,2024 I had a preoperative appointment at Sono Bello in ********** with *****************************. His bedside manner wasnt the best & I expressed this concern to their management staff. He also delayed sending my operative scripts to my pharmacy until 8:55pm (pharmacy closed at 9pm) the day before my surgery. During my surgery (I got liposuction to my upper back, bra fat area, waist, upper & lower stomach and an Ab-ex which is a minimal tummy tuck) he was disrespectful & rude. I was in extreme pain and asked the med tech assisting him if I could have anything extra for pain and he told her no i couldnt, then while performing liposuction on me he made a comment saying its funny how the people that want the most work done on their body, complain while Im doing it!. I groaned from the pain and he said no, dont start that, go to sleep, just go to sleep!. He also stated to his assistants in the room during my procedure how back in the day people would have this surgery with no pain medicine at all. I said ouch when he was doing lipo on my back and he put the equipment down and walked right out of the room. I asked asked him questions while he was doing the procedure and he completely ignored me, I had to turn and ask his assistant the same thing i had just asked him. I felt totally violated and disrespected by *************** and I paid over 17,000$ for my surgery! I am in the process of trying to get my medical records from them so that I can take further actions but their manager is dragging her feet & saying that she has to wait for corporates approval! The sad part is my close friend had her surgery a couple weeks before me & was given extra pain medicine through her IV, whereas I wasnt given anything although I was in extreme pain, I was basically told to shut up & go to sleep! Doctors take a Hippocratic oath to do no harm and he violated that oath with me! Im mentally & emotionally traumatized & experienced gruesome pain during my surgery!Business Response

I went to sono bello in *************** last year. When I went in we agreed on a package that included liposuction in my stomach and my sides and also a tummy tuck. The package included 3 free ***** treatments also the day of the surgery I paid for an additional area of my back. I actual** squeezed the fat in the area of my back that I wanted done. 30 days after I went to my follow up and I wasn't happy but they said it was swelling and it would go down 6 months later I went back still not happy *** asking about the ***** treatments they stated I was supposed to do that sooner it was a waste at that time. (I was never told to schedule them.) They agreed to do a revision surgery free she said they would call me to reschedule. I got a call the next day saying my pre op would be Monday and my surgery would be Wed with a different doctor I told them bo I work and dont want a new doctor. So I canceled and started putting up bad reviews after I did that the head quarters called me to try to resolve the is*** I agreed to go in a month later for a pre op when I went in the doctor asked the nurse howbshe should proceed and wasn't sure how *** was going to fix it. I felt **** a test dummy so I canceled. I then got a call from headquarters again asking why I canceled I explained she offered me a ***** dollar refund. I told her I would think about it. I got back to her the next week *** said no I want a full refund she said no she would give me back ***** which is half of what I paid they didn't give me services they did the wrong area of my back they didn't do the top of my stomach and my sides are lopsided and my stomach is lumpy and hard I don't agree with this. I don't thinkbit is right and I deserve a refund the o ** way to fix me is to have surgery again which I am not doing but i have to live like this disfigured the rest of my life the least they could do is give me my money back.Business Response
