      Discrepancy in Billing for Medical Procedure I am writing to file a complaint regarding my recent medical procedure. While the procedure itself went well, and ******************** in the ************* area was excellentkind, funny, and honestthe billing process has been problematic and misleading.Initially, I received a quote for the following areas on May 28th via docusign - Upper Abs - Lower Abs - Waist - Hips - Inner Thigh (FREE)- Outer Thigh - AbEX - BalancePro Lymphatic Treatments (10 sessions)- Pre-Operative Appointment - Diamond Recovery Package - Surgical Fee **Original Quote Breakdown:**- Grand Total: $20,076.68 - Discounts: -$3,824.00 - Amount Due: $16,252.68 - Deposit: $1,852.68 - Balance: $14,400.00 ***** consulting with ********************, he advised that I did not need the Inner and Outer Thigh procedures. This adjustment should have reduced my balance by $2,095, as I was only paying for the Outer Thigh in the original quote. The new balance should have been $12,305.00 after my deposit.I received a call from **** at SB in *****, who informed me that ******************** recommended the pubic area as my new FREE area instead of the ***********. I agreed and asked for the updated quote. Despite my pre-op being scheduled for Thursday in OKC and my procedure on the following Monday, I never received the new quote before my procedure.As a result, I am still being charged for the Outer Thigh, with the Pubic area now marked as FREE instead of the Inner Thigh. I feel taken advantage of and misled, like buying a car without adequate support. I am seeking a refund of $2,095 for the Outer Thigh procedure that was not performed.Please help me resolve this billing discrepancy and understand why my total cost did not adjust accordingly after removing the Inner and Outer Thigh procedures.Thank you for your assistance.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      I still haven't received a resolution to this matter, which I've been trying to resolve since June 20th. After being unable to get a resolution with either office in ********, I finally heard from the patient relations corporate office regarding a different issue. As shown in the attached screenshot, ****** from Sono Bello's corporate office told me on Friday afternoon after my one-month post-op that I would have to wait until Monday for a response. She said it should have been settled by the time I went to my appointment that morning.

      The only reason ****** reached out was because I left a one-star review on ****** about the lack of communication on the day of my procedure. My husband was left sitting in the waiting room for three hours after I should have been done, and not one office person offered to explain the delay.

      This ongoing delay is completely unacceptable. I demand an immediate refund of $2,095 for the area that was not treated as per our agreement.

      On June 7, 2024 went into Sono Bello for a consultation, was unsure if I wanted to have the procedure so left without signing a contract, called ***** later in the day to say I thought I was going to do it, gave CC information over the phone. Decided over that weekend not to do it after all and texted ***** to let her know and request a refund., she said she was with clients and would call me at the end of the day, she never did . Over the next week sent many texts requesting my refund, on 6/21 was contacted by a nurse to stop taking one of my meds, at this time I told her I have been texting ***** to cancel and wanted a refund, she said she would have someone else contact me. When I got the next call and I confirmed I was cancelling the procedure and wanted a refund , she said she would contact ***** and I have not heard back. Today I received my CC statement and there are two changes each for $2495.00, i contacted my CC company to dispute the charges because I have never signed anything and have never received any services. I sent another text today 7/9 requesting ***** contact me, I expect this to go unanswered as well.

      I went to Sonnobello for a consultation with **************** and ended the appointment by paying $18,000.00 upfront for a series of procedures. I did attend one pre op appointment in *********, and the ***** procedure was scheduled for August. During my initial appointment / consultation I mentioned some of my pre existing health conditions and was told normally my ** would have to give me clearance but she felt we should redo the intake paperwork excluding that information so I could fast track my surgery. After some health concerns, my ** told me I was not a candidate for the procedures and with my medical history, the amount of lidocaine needed for the procedure was dangerous to me as well as many other dangerous factors that made me not a candidate. In that initial appointment, I did NOT fill out another intake sheet though, yet I was urged to continue forward. Im so glad I didnt. I had my ** *** over paperwork to ******* after she told me I wasnt entitled to any refund although the procedures were not preformed and that I am NOT a candidate. No e of my calls have been returned, no emails returned and absolute radio silence. She knew I had preexisting health conditions, I was not given clearance by my ** and she wanted me to omit that info and continue on. I would like to handle this outside of court if possible. I understand there is a fee for the one pre op appointment I attended, but behind that, I am not entitled to a refund at all. It should NOT be encouraged to health concerns, those falsely omitted concerns making the patient not a candidate then no refund? Thats poor business and health practice. I would literally not survive the procedure. I would like a refund.

      I am rejecting this response because: although I was told (after I proactively reached out because NO ONE will follow through or return my calls) that a refund was being issued from accounting. That was on 7/22/2024 by ***** in the ********* office. I called to check on the status of the refund, was told she would call me back, she has not. No refund has been issued as of yet.  Once I have received my refund, the issue will be resolved.

      I had liposuction done to my stomach and thighs and knees. The dr who did the surgery was ***************. When I seen her for follow up appointments, I told her I was not happy with a few issues in my stomach and my legs. She informed me that my stomach could have more fat removed but didn't agree to anything on my legs. Which I feel was wrong and due to her leaving the practice at the end of the month. I had a consultation done elsewhere this month and was told I definitely could have more removed from my stomach and my legs could be fixed to look more even. I am looking for them to fix the issue or reimburse me half my money back if not all

      I'm filing this complaint on behalf of my daughter. Her information used in the transaction is listed below. The transaction for services with Sono Bello occurred on 5/29/24. These services were requested at the ******, ** location. On the same date, 5/29/24, she changed her mind for receiving these services and requested a refund. The office at this location agreed to a refund (see uploaded document); however, they told her the refund had to come from the corporate office and it would take 14 days. The original transaction debited her checking account on 5/30/24 for $2495. As of today, 7/8/24, she has still not received her refund.************************* **************************************** **************

      I had a consultation with SonoBello on June 3, 2024. On that day we set up financing for the procedure which included a down payment of $1,136.00, and 2 loans from different companies of $3,089.00 and $7,000.00. I had the pre-op and the procedure was set to occur on June 11, 2024. On June 6th I had to cancel the appointment and the procedure overall for personal reasons, including a sudden death in the family and my report date for entering the US military being moved up. I called multiple numbers on June 6th, 7th, and 10th to make sure that the procedure was going to be canceled. Finally, I was able to get a hold of someone to cancel, and she just asked me to reschedule. I had to get a hold of a manager on June 11th for the consultant to reach back out to me and realize I needed to completely cancel the procedure, not just reschedule. I had called both financing companies at that point, and they said the SonoBello would have to put in for the reversals. I was told by the consultant on June 11th they would cancel everything and put in for a refund. I continued to receive notices about accounts and money being owed. I contacted the consultant once again on June 21st, and she said everything was taken care of on their end, and my account was cleared. I took her at her word. I received another notice on June 27th of an account being bought out and what I owed. I reached out to my consultant once again, and she assured me that nothing was charged on that account and the other one had been sent for a return. I received another notice on July 6th of a payment due. I have called both financing companies today (July 8th) and both have said they have not received any paperwork from my consultant or SonoBello to reverse or stop the financing accounts. I also never received the refund I was promised.

      I read some reviews about certain doctor in this place so i decided to change the doctor **** going to operate on me , its horrible review. So went with different doctor but same place and what he does he ruined me and I lost my money , many people mentioned (if you go to this place after you pay them they operate on you. They will be dismissive and they dont care about you. Its all about how much you paid them in your pocket) the doctor **** butcher me and destroy my body taking $7k almost for nothing without any result , so when I went going back to follow up and tell them that I didnt achieving what he had been said to me The doctor turned nasty attitude and changed his demeanor from I would do this and that to what I can do for you? Youre done and I am happy with my job i think I did a good result!!!! Are you kidding me . I dont even have extra wait or I am fat. Im not. Im just normal average person, but I struggle with little bulge around my tummy I didnt received any results its scam and I will file lawsuit against this doctor **** butcher half of my stomach and left the other part who appear as deformed. Why I have to go through this whole process painful and most important he got paid to ruin me. It took me 4 straight months to get rid of pain and I am still hurting after the Bruise is gone I still suffer from the tissue damage and tearing up my tissue inside. They saying its Guarantee patients will be happy with results if not theyre responsible to fix their mistake which they didnt.

      I am rejecting this response because: you indicate you gave me two options! you only gave me  one option that the doctor is going to see me and give me their Second opinion you did not offer me another thing which is vague when you say we have two option?. I want get a refund or correction for the damage and disfigure the doctor caused me at lower abdominal cavity . I cannot do surgery again, I dont think I will receive any result and I dont want go through the pain  I went  through from first surgery. My suggestion is to have my refund back and you can keep the deposit the first initial $2000.

      They didnt have any resolution yet , they did offered me small amount of customer 
      Satisfaction but theres a term I have to sign in order to receive the small amount however I am not sure of the legal documents they presented to me theyre many  of pegs which I am not familiar with! Until I get to see a lawyer, I dont think 1500 dollars the price I should get back , I dont except that amount not even near what I paid for my surgery, travel costs and the pain that  deformed my tummy shape who I left with, in top of that they ask me to waive all my rights now and in the future from any legal action against them which I seen not reasonable to do so since their practice going down very soon, theyre got highly negative reviews from others patients whos demanding justice for what wrongly done to them including me.  I am seek help from this site and I will seek help from attorney general and I will highly going with option of contacting a lawyer first.

      In August of 2023 I put a downpayment for lipo and was attempting to make payments. My down payment was $500 and I made 1 more payment of $500. I contacted them by phone in June of 2024 and was told that I would get a call back. No one contacted me, so I went into their office and no one besides the rep could talk to me. She made it sound like I wasnt getting my money back. I recorded our conversation. Nothing was done so I took it upon myself to leave a badreview on ******* I was email and called. I was told that I would have my money June 28th but there was no money. Its now July 2nd I have called left messages and sent a text message. I hope I will be getting my $1000 soon because its been hard. I was told over the phone that if I didnt get surgery in a certain amount of time then they are supposed to send a check.

      So like so many mothers, I dreaded the way my body looked. I worked out, fasted, and pretty much done everything to get a body I didnt have to feel trapped in. After my 2nd child was born, I got a mummy makeover, breast reduction and lipo done. I wasnt happy with the results almost 2 years later. So when I came across Sono Bello, I was pretty excited. I like to think that my pain tolerance is high and I thought this was going to be a cake walk. I had a consultation on 6/25 and I was scheduled for surgery 6/29. It all happened too fast and I was excited. Hear me loud and clear: when I tell you I ALMOST DIEDthis was no joke. I was in so much agonizing pain. I was screaming. Even though I was in and out of consciousness, I remember the nurse holding my hands trying to calm me down (she meant well). BUT THE DOCTOR: she started getting frustrated and started giving me ultimatums like we are going to stop the procedure because you arent handling this well. Mind you my heart rate skyrocketed to 170s. I then remember her saying to give me ***** minutes for my heart beat to go down. Then pain was so intense I was losing consciousness. Then to make it worsethe doctor brings the suctioning tool with a tissue dangling on the tip to where I can see it and said you have scarred tissue and this might not work or something along those lines. So I am nervous that I would look disfigured but also trying to comprehend what scarred tissue means. I am all drugged up, Im so much pain. Doctor showed zero compassion. Its wild because surgery was about 3 days ago and my memory is coming back of what I heard and I will tell you know that there is not enough money in this world to make me go through this pain again. EVER again. False advertisement that the pain is minimal. Not even close. Never in my life did I think I would be under the care of a doctor would show frustration when my body flinched and twitched from pain. I felt used. I am very disappointed. 0% compassion

      I had a consultation at Sono Bello in *** to discuss chin lipo. During the consultation I was told that Im an ideal candidate for this procedure and told that I would have great results with the procedure alone. She even pinched the area under my neck to tell me that would all be gone.Flash forward to my pre-op appointment with my doctor, that they very strategically schedule past the point of receiving a full refund, and my surgeon explains to me that I some elasticity loss in that area and this procedure alone will not be enough to completely get rid of my double chin. I moved forward with the surgery due to not wanting to be out almost $3000.However, I am very unhappy with the lack of knowledge the people doing the initial consultations seem to have. I put my trust in their expertise and now Im out over $5000 and do not have my desired result. I would have to have more costly procedures to get where I want, and I wish I had known that beforehand.
