    I am a wheelchair bound quadriplegic and found a ranch style one story home available through **************** in ********. I was able to purchase the home before any construction began. During the design meeting in July 2023, I made requests for accessible accommodations (see ****** review for pics). I was billed just under $24k for all requested accommodations and upgrades.I had my walk/roll through early December 2023. I pointed out that I was unable to roll under the main and kitchen sinks with my manual wheelchair and the exposed pipes were in the way. In addition to limited access, the exposed pipes were unsightly. I made requests to have the pipes diverted back and covered like the provided photo prior to closing and moving in. I was assured it was going to be taken care of.Unfortunately it was never taken care of and my request was denied (see email). I feel I have been wronged. What was discussed and paid for during the design meeting six months prior was not provided. After moving in and being assured it would be remedied, they are stating it does not fall under warranty when in fact it was never completed. I believe **************** is responsible for providing the discussed and paid for modifications of having an appropriate *** roll under accessible sink installed. The solution would be to have the pipes diverted back a couple inches and having it covered. Mind you I am only 58 and do not have particular long legs while sitting in my manual wheelchair. So I do not require any special accommodations beyond an ***************. My real estate agent feels bad and will be paying out of pocket to cover the plumbing with cabinetry. Unfortunately, **************** will not pay for the their plumber to complete the work of pushing the pipes back a couple inches to clear my knees and wheelchair stating the sinks may need to be changed out and possibly different countertops.I hope this review helps any future buyers to know who they will be doing business with.
