    We met ******** Bright though Varsity Tutors. We hired Varsity Tutors to tutor our daughter in geometry. ******** advised that she could tutor ******* for a cheaper price. She told us her company was Bright International LLC and has this listed on her e-mails. ******** has decided to no longer tutor ******* after taking payment for all of *********** tutoring sessions. We paid ******** $30.00 per session. We have 4 sessions remaining in April and 9 sessions scheduled for **** Yesterday (4/13) we received a text message from ******** stating she would no longer be tutoring ******* and that she was keeping the extra funds due to doing "extra work" that was not in line with her tutoring responsibilities. She advised the "extra work" was text messages and phone calls outside of tutoring sessions. All "extra work" that was completed was done based on ********'s request for tutoring *******. Phone calls were always requested for in at text to ********, which she agreed to do so. At no time were we informed there would be extra fees. ******** is refusing to return $390.00 she took for us. We feel a full refund is in order as funds were taken for a particular service and those said services were not rendered.

    Since the beginning of 2022 the Bright international LLC business has been closed and no business has been conducted. The complaint statement is untrue. All tutoring through Varsity Tutors is compensated after the service has been provided.
