On April 17th, an employee of Dirty Werx tricities severally scratched the inside of my oven during their cleaning service. The scratches are all over the inside of my oven and they were not there before they provided their service. They are claiming that the damages were caused on my behalf from the sliding of the grates. They are claiming that the inside my oven was caked with grease, so there is no way anyone could tell if there was scratches underneath. There was no build-up on the sides and weve never slide our grates on the top shelf where the most prominent scratches occurred. I contacted the owner ********* about the damages and she is unwilling to be accountable or come to a peaceful resolution. She insisted that I pay for the cleaning service and she is not willing to compensate me for the damage her company caused. I paid $1300 for my oven on October 17th, 2021 and it has only been gently used by me since. Ive never cleaned with anything abrasive or slide the grates around. These scratches were not sustained by my doing.

    Business Response

    Date: 05/15/2025

On April 17th 2 of my cleaners drove 52 minutes in order to service ********* home. Upon arriving, they noticed the front door was locked. After many attempts to reach *******, they found a garage door that they were able to go through. ******* mentioned several times that she never locked the front door and we were lying about it being locked (why would we lie about this?). After finishing the clean, all 3 cleaners drove through ********* automatic gate to leave the premises. ******* later accused the cleaners of leaving a side gate opened in which none of the 3 opened nor went through as the only gate they would have needed to go through was the automatic one. Another mention was that a clock had stopped ticking and she wanted to blame that on the cleaners as well.

Later, when on the phone with *******, she had mentioned that she never cleaned her oven before except with the self-cleaning mode once and that her oven was pretty badly caked with burnt food and grease. Everyone, even the manufacturers know not to ever use self-cleaning mode as it ruins the oven. After speaking with all 3 cleaners, neither said the oven was damaged from them (they have cleaned 100's of ovens for many years).

After all the strange accusations, behavior, and hiring a non-local company, I can only presume that ******* has done this many times before.

I am rejecting this response because of the false accusations made by ********* and due to the fact that the cleaners scratched my oven. I told her on the phone that this was my first time having my house cleaned. Their add popped up on my local ******** group and I was seeking a local professional cleaning company (I live only 35 minutes from Tricities). I was up front about my address when we had our initial conversation
My front door was unlocked, you just have to turn the k*** to the left when entering from the exterior.

Bottom line, my husband and I have only been respectful with our interactions with ********* as we have tried to come to a peaceful resolution.

    Sincerely,

    ******* *******
