      Awful experience. I fell out of compliance because of a **** mask i received did not work right after using it a few times. I had an appointment to get a new mask and missed it (my fault) and then tried to re schedule but it is very difficult to get through to anyone at this company. I had waited on hold for an hour at least twice. Even tried to submit a request via a form on their website twice (no answer). Then I get voicemail telling me i am out of compliance and to bring back the machine ASAP or they will send to collection (wait.. no **** first, just straight to collection?). Then I get a letter in the mail (see my screen shot) saying I had three choices at this point. two of the choices are to bring back the machine, 3rd choice would seem like i had a chance to pay privately (until my insurance appeal goes through) for the **** rental. But even though their letter says I could pay privately for the rental, apparently that was not the truth. I call and they said to me " I'm sorry it is not worded the way you want it to be but paying privately for rental is not an option". Apparently their letter is incorrectly stated ! If i cannot pay privately for rental why does it state that on their letter (please see my screen shot). This company is very deceitful and not even willing to work with their customers. They just want the machine back so that they can sell/rent to the next customer that will probably get the same terrible treatment and get scammed as well. I was on a rent to own that had 4 months left. Now my insurance company will only ever pay 4 months of rental, ever, when agreements are usually ***************************************************************************************** ***** but still didnt get helped. The girl in the office told me that my insurance company was sent an authorization and that they would not pay, but that is not the truth because my insurance company told me that they had not sent in a claim or authorization yet.

      This company should really not threaten to take customer to collections without even trying to help, first. And they really should tell the truth in the letter they send out to the customer. I was mentioning all i have gone through to someone at Performance Medical and all she could say was "are you done yet, because i would like to get back to my day" and she wasnt even empathetic at all or willing to do anything except for send me to collections, where I hadnt even seen a bill yet. Most companies want to hear feedback such as that the form on the website apparently does not go to anyone and that a person can actually be on hold for over an hour when they call. Threats are not cool. And after my four remaining months, i will be looking elsewhere for this service. Yes, i am basically locked in for another 4 months with them. I sure wish this industry was more regulated and maybe patients/customers would be treated better.

      I have tried in vain to connect with Performance Home Medical to coordinate delivery of a new oxygen prescription. The one instance in which I was able to connect with their office, they requested documentation that had already been sent. My doctor sent a nurse to the *** office to hand deliver the documents a second time, and I was promised follow up. I received no follow up. Since then, they do not answer the phone. I have sat on hold for minimum 2 hours per day, five days per week, for three weeks. Requested dial-backs are ignored. Billing department picks up immediately, however. Emails are ignored or undelivered, I am not sure which. Contact attempted via form on *** site also not responded to. This is a nightmare.

      I have received no contact. No attempts at response. At all. Despite having left messages with staff, managers, and corporate officers listed in public records, I have been ignored, plan and simple. I continue to be ignored. I am persistent and capable, and worked as an investigative journalist for decades. I know how to get through to people who don't want to talk to me. I can't imagine someone without my skillset trying to get medical equipment from this company. It's heartbreaking.

      I have been going back and forth with PHM for over a month trying to get my CPAP ordered. I have all my required docs including my sleep study results with the doctor recommendation to try an Auto CPAP for ************************************************************************************** to PHM and they called and stated the level of apnea I have doesn't qualify for a CPAP. Huge waste of time.
