    We contracted with Team Roofing for a new roof, gutters and insulation. The communication during the whole thing was horrible. The start date kept getting pushed back. I know rain was a factor so I didnt bring it up. The roof and insulation was done mid April 2022. A different crew came a few days later to do the gutters. While the roof was being done one of the workers stepped through our ceiling. Team Roofing fixed this but it took a long time. I paid everything except for ******** via check, which Team Roofing cashed (I can prove this with bank records). Total owing was ********* and I paid *********. Team Roofing told me to keep ******** until everything was complete (ceiling fixed and gutters completed). It was pouring down rain when the gutter guys came so I didnt get on a ladder to check them out. The next day I got on a ladder and saw exposed wood where the gutters were installed. I have been questioning this for several months and no one has come out to fix it. They fixed my ceiling but I still have exposed wood. I have not paid the reading ******** because of this. About a month ago we received a notice that we now have a lien on our house. Apparently Team Roofing has not paid their bills even though I paid almost everything owing. I have tried calling *****************, the owner, but now he wont return my calls. I really dont want to have to pay for a lawyer on top of everything. Any assistance the BBB could provide would be much appreciated in communicating with Team Roofing to get the lien off my house and the exposed wood taken care of. I reviewed Team Roofing and though I was going with a good company. I was gravely mistaken.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********. The lien has been taken care of- I confirmed this with the company that placed the lien on our house. However, the exposed wood has not been taken care of yet. Someone from the roofing company came out to look at the exposed wood where the gutters are hanging. They subcontracted the gutter job out and said the gutter guy needs to look at it for a solution. The gutter guy came out, moved the gutters up as much as possible without disrupting flow but there is still exposed wood. He said the roofing company would need to fix that. I accept the statement that this is in work but this is not resolved. I will not consider this resolved until the exposed wood is covered.

    I received a voicemail they have come up with a solution for the exposed wood by the gutters, but no one has come out yet. Someone was supposed to come out about a week and a half ago but they notified me they were sick and would be out Tuesday, 11/1. No one showed on 11/1 and I havent received any follow up communication. I agree this is in the process of being fixed with the Company notifying me they have come up with a solution but I cant say the issue is resolved until the exposed wood is actually covered. I wish there was an option to accept the businesses response yet keep the issue open until it is truly resolved.

    I Hired Team Roofing Northwest to put a new roof on my home I paid them close to ****** dollars to do so. The following winter my carport collapsed revealing that they did not replace a rotting facia board and rafter which were completely dry rotted with obvious patch work to cover up the rotting area. After months of trying to get ahold of someone at team roofing northwest they finally sent there project managers out to take a look. They tried to claim that there was no way for them to know that the rot was there which after confirming with a different contractor we now know is not the case. however they without taking any blame said they would make it right and that they would put us on the schedule but it would take a couple weeks. Months go by with us trying to contact them with no results they wouldn't take our calls and went radio silence for months. We finally get a call from the project manager named al and he said he would have us on the schedule the following week apologizing for the delays. And instead of anyone coming out to fix the problem i got a call from a different manager who said that al was no longer with the company and that they would not be honoring what al had told us. He also claimed that the reason they wouldn't be coming out to fix the issue was because it didn't fall under our warranty however we were not trying to make a claim under the warranty we simply wanted them to come and finish the job that we paid them to do the way it should have been done in the first place. I also no longer know if i can trust this companies credibility to make things right. desired resolution is for the job to be done right weather that means getting team roofing northwest to fix their mistakes or refunding us the price of the roof so we can have another company do it right.

    We were contracted to replace the customer's roof on his home only. The customer stated that his car port collapsed, the dryrot was from the carport we were not contracted to replace the carport .We have offered to come out and fix it for the customer and he has refused because it will be an additional charge as we were never contracted to replace the roofing on the car port. The only way you would know if there is dryrot is removing the carport.

    I am rejecting this response because: Because the carport roof was never the issue in the first place to support this I can attach images that show the dry rot is in the roof of the home and not the carport. the only time we were ever reached out to about the roof from team roofing was their project manager named al who said he would put us on the schedule but never did and later we find out that he no longer works for the company. in fact al guarantied us that we would be on the schedule for the following week that he called us. but instead of a call from al telling us that they would be coming out soon we got a call from **** another employee at team roofing that al had been fired and that they were not honoring what he told us. Our desired outcome is for team roofing northwest to be held accountable for their lack of action and lack of taking this serious either by coming out and doing the job they were contracted to do correctly or paying for someone else to come out and do the job that they couldn't. i tried to attach photos but it wouldn't let me
