Was assaulted by staff when they falsely accused me of theft for putting candy that I brought into the store in my pocket. Instead of reviewing the cameras first before invading my personal space and putting hands on me in front of other customers. They decided that because they had called out to me and I did not stop (which I was not required to for one, for two i had not heard them seeing as I have hearing loss in both ears) that they would be justified in initiating unwanted physical contact by placing their hand on my shoulder to turn me around instead of making themselves visible by entering my line of sight which they later claimed falsely that I was hurrying up to get away from them when in fact I was walking at a leisurely pace. When after the altercation occurred I inquired on putting a complaint against the employee who had assaulted me I was informed that the only person I could talk to would be the manager on duty was the employee that had just put his hands on me. To make a long story short they ended up calling the police, wasting both the manager time as well as the police officer not to mention my own time. All of this is taking place at the front of the store in front of customers I was needless to say humiliated by my treatment when I had done nothing wrong but entered the store to browse this employee should be fired the officer that responded should be educated as to the law regarding unwanted physical contact. Apparently hear the employees are above the law and the customers can be assaulted by the employees with no repercussions how embarrassing for the business shame on them

We have checked with all supervisors that were on duty on the date that you reported this, 7/3/24, and nobody knows anything about this.

If you could give me a time and date, if the 3rd is not correct, that I can look into it further, I certainly will.
