First time I brought my car to them after my clutch overheated and started slipping after a long road trip. I made the appointment and told them explicitly I just wanted a quote for a new clutch system, I already knew it needed to be replaced. They said they needed to look at the car, ok. After their inspection I get an invoice for a 100$ inspection fee that states tech looked around the outside of your clutch and noticed some shavings and residue, along with burnt clutch smell, recommend clutch replacement. They didnt even take the clutch out. I paid them 100$ to tell me what I already knew. I looked at my own clutch and figured that out as well and didnt need to spend 100$ for you to open my hood and close it.. They then quoted me for a clutch job over 3500$ including parts and labor. I got it replaced at the dealership for 2200$ total after that.Second visit: I explicitly told them rear brakes only. They proceed to do full brake check. Okay I guess, even though I just had front brakes done and told them that prior to service. They manage to break a stud off my front tire due to excessive rust while doing their inspection.. tried charging me 160$ for an hour of labor on a single stud lol. Upon me checking out my stud when I picked my vehicle up, there was no rust to be found, only the stud itself was a little stripped but not too bad. And then somehow they lost the nut to the stud after I explicitly asked for it back, now after buying a new one, it screwed on fine back to my old stud they literally make problems then charge crazy money to fix them.Wanted they were also super pushy and aggressive on the phone. As per ******** law, they have violated RCW 46.71.005 by not giving me back my part after damaging it and my vehicle..

Please see attached customer repair orders for both visits.  Regarding the complaint from customer first visit: It is our policy to inspect the vehicle as it correlates to the customer's concern.  We did discount the clutch inspection 50% of the charge.  Please see invoice 453 9/19/22 that supports the discount of $115.00 and the description of the technician's findings and recommendations. Our quote for the clutch replacement, which is on invoice 208 is for $2647.43 before tax.  Customer states our quote is for over $3500.00 and the dealership did his job for $2200.00.  I do not have a repair order from the dealership to compare apples to apples what they would do and what we would do.

Second visit complaint: It is our policy to perform a brake inspection when a customer has a concerns with their brakes.  This way we can give the customer the best recommendation after inspecting their whole braking system.  On invoice 208 the brake inspection findings are detailed under Brake Inspection.  This cost is $19.99 and goes towards the brake job.  We discounted this to 0. This vehicle does have rust and lf wheel lug nut sheared off upon removal.  We did get another lug nut to install but customer opted to take vehicle before we could install it.  We understand the customer's frustration in our shearing the lugnut and maybe did not share the potential of this happening due to the rust.

RCW 46.71.005 states that we must return a part to a customer before work begins.  We did not replace the lug nut as customer opted to take vehicle.

We appreciate the opportunity to share our documentation with the BBB and look forward to a resolution.  We respectfully ask the BBB to make a recommendation on how to proceed.
