      Management ********************** is very nasty and unfriendly to black colored! Never smile or a friendly greeting of no kind. Ive stayed here 3 yrs in September 30 3024. She has done all she could to get my lease violated with found truths. I have no violations but she put a notice on my door to illegally end my right to renew my lease without a legit reason!!She has tagged ****** right in with her nastiness attitude. They are only kind to their own race. Mexicans. ****** stay sweet and continue to treat all people equal.

      The company cares more about it's profit and acquiring multiple complexes in an area that are a mix of newer and ones that are rundown and the charge a higher rent on the rundown ones as it's " fair market value" we wait forever for things to be fixed or replaced. But don't dare delay paying the high rent.

      Worst apartments, once ******** took over. They stole my deposit, lied and scammed. They stated I was owed a refund and said it would be issued to me and forwarded to the address. Now they're back tracking and stating I owe them 385. They're liars and a terrible scan company.

      They changed ownership, owe me money and they dont want to be responsible at all. Owe me 1200 dollars. Called 100 times nobody calls me. I usually don't leave bad reviews anywhere, I always try to be positive about experiences even when I haven't had one. But if you want an honest review, here you go. Don't move into this complex! Save yourselves time and money and don't step foot in this place.I suffer from Asthma and I had a cough for 2 weeks that was not cured with absolutely anything I was taking, the entire apartment was flooded with water, due to the heavy rains, I filed a complaint trying to find a solution, because I understand that Bad things happen, they entered the apartment and without warning they moved all my belongings, they broke the entire wall of the room, the bathroom, they installed some fans that made a NOISE that did not let me sleep, I had to take out the mattress and literally sleep in the living room Due to the **** and the musty smell of the entire room, no one at least offered to give us another apartment, I was assisted by a lady who is the worst thing I have ever met in customer service, who if I take a seat for 1 hour she does not attend to me, They treat you like you are bothering them when you are paying $1900 dollars a month. How can you pay this amount of money and still have the apartment full of water and mold? They disconnected the bathroom sink, all the water pouring everywhere.In addition, the carpet in the room and the closet were completely wet, every morning you felt the water on all the carpets, my mattress was damaged because of the smell of mold. The maintenance lady tells me while we fix the apartment you can sleep on the furniture (sarcasm and a horrible lack of empathy). All the hallways smell like weed from the moment you walk out in the morning.

      Terrible. They are some of the worst. They couldn't even give my new property management the correct deposit amount I paid. They were extremely hard to get ahold of and just overall a terrible company. If you have the chance, RUN!

      I have lived at this property for 6months now, my vehicle has gotten towed 2x now today. All because Im a resident happened to be parked at a visitor parking and then my daughters car was towed as well. Looks like they are just trying to make money out of me by keep towing my cars within 1 week! This is uncalled for and I deserve to either refund my money or be credit towards the rent. Ive paid over $900 over all. Paid $322 every time! And now Im broke as it can be! *** called the leasing office several times and no answer and sent several emails to the assistant manager ******* and no response either! Their customer service is very low and just seems all they care about is to make money and nothing more. The M&M towing people are extremely rude and they dont care to help you either or even try to work with you. I would love a positive resolution about this. It has gotten me feeling that Im just being targeted for money! Your prompt attention on this matter will be greatly appreciated it.

      This is the worst apartments! I have lived here almost 4 years. This last October they posted on my door the rent increase, but never raised it. I pay online and in full every month. 7 months after the notice the sent me an email saying I owe 6 months back rent and late fees. They never updated their system to show the rent increase. Now charging a grand in back rent after the fact. Im not the only person they are doing this to.

      I currently live in a building they manage. It's the worst management company. I have only lived at the building for 6 months, but they have had 100% turnover.

      It's hard to say that the customer support from them and our apartment complex is poor because there is ZERO customer support. I have called ********************** many, many times, and never once have I gotten anyone on the phone. My apartment complex let me move in after the previous tenant was evicted. There was still **** internet in my unit that I did not have the password to. The biggest issue with that was the air conditioning was connected to the previous tenant's wifi, so I didn't have access to it. So for 10 nights, the ** was scheduled to turn off around 11 PM. I moved in July in *******, and the temperature in my apartment would exceed 85 degrees for TEN STRAIGHT DAYS. Neither Artesia ************************************ took any blame and said it wasn't their problem. I would argue that they did not do a thorough enough inspection before allowing me to move in. They are an absolute nightmare, and I'm not surprised that their BBB rating is an F. Legal action should be taken against both the apartment complex and Avenue5.

      The neighbors caught our apartment complex on fire. I had paid rent for **** 20minutes prior to the fire, which took place on the 25th of May. It's **** 21st and they still have not returned my money. Two weeks prior to our fire another Avenue 5 complex caught fire. That complex had a restoration team out there within an hour. No restoration company came for me. I had to do everything myself. I am a single mother with 4 kids, I work two full-time jobs to support my family. I missed two weeks of work due to this. They also changed the locks on me prior to me finishing getting all of my personal belongings out of the apartment. They also said they did not have any available units to move into, which was a lie, they recently put a now leasing sign outside of the complex and I have a friend who knows someone that was moving in the day of the fire. They had multiple units available. So, I had to find new housing and pay rent at another place for the rest of May and ****. How can they change the locks on me without returning my money?
