As of March 26, 2018, BBB has received a Scam
Tracker report and complaint from consumers alleging Marketing Trustees of
America had contacted them offering to buy their timeshare.  After the
consumer signed the contract she was instructed to wire money to Mexico. 

BBB found Marketing Trustees of America, Inc. is
not a licensed escrow, title or real estate company in Washington State. 
BBB also found Marketing Trustees of America, Inc. is not licensed to do
business in Washington State.  BBB found their website, http://www.marketingtrusteesofamerica.net was recently created on May 19, 2017.  BBB could not confirm a physical
location at the advertised address of 480 Pike Street, Seattle, WA.  BBB
found this address is also being used by a fraudulent escrow company involved
in timeshare sales, Benchmark Escrow, Inc. whose business profile can be viewed
here,  https://www.bbb.org/western-washington/business-reviews/escrow-services/benchmark-escrow-inc-in-seattle-wa-1000047198/Alerts-and-Actions.  On March 26, 2018, BBB reached out to the company
by phone, email and letter and is awaiting a response.
