    *************************** with Color and Arches gave me a quote to have work done on a property in hopes to begin the process of adding a new bathroom. When we started, I was very clear on needing minimal work done along with needing to be aware of what the true cost was going to be to get this done. Through the process, immediately, communication was extremely poor. Regardless, we were able to discuss the bid to get the work done which I believed to be accurate based on the tenure and professionality of the company. After agreeing on the quote given when the work had begun I received one call from the company notifying me that a little more work would need to be done. While discussing this change, we again discussed and agreed on a price change. Through the process, when trying to gain information, there was a lack of disclosed information from Color and Arches that was neccessary in determining whether or not we should continue the project. After being told that the job was complete, I arrived to the property that was a complete mess and required several hours of clean up and a cost of a dump run.When I finally received the bill, the amount due was more than 2.5 times the quote that was agreed upon. I was given no information on an extended price change and there was no information given in order to give me the opportunity to halt work as it was going to become unmanageable. When discussing this with the company, they disclosed that none of the work was permitted with the proper agencies and that I " should have known better about the price."
