My bank paid them for two Heat Pumps that they did not ever deliver so I had to get L&I and another business involved. He said he would deliver the Heat Pumps and complete the work but he never did so we had to hire another business who charged us more than $12,000 to complete the work and supply the two Heat Pumps they'd already been paid for. We were strung along by Austin Air who kept promising to come complete the job, first through L&I and then through another, much larger, local HVAC business owner that was attempting to help fix the issue, but they stopped communicating so we hired another local who was certified to install the brand of heat pumps that were selected by Austin Air, to complete the work. I have not been able to file a complaint before now as I have been working on completing the house and have not had time to secure a lawyer until now and I'd prefer to settle out of court through the BBB.They were paid $14,389.04 -- which is 90% of a ********* that included, 2 heat pumps, their installation and another $500 worth of labor on a fireplace that they also did not do. They were threatening with a lien at the ************** so the bank took the risk to pay them for heat pumps they had not yet installed or delivered. Of the $1,876.56 they were not paid, only $******** was to cover the labor of completing the whole system, firing it up and tuning or fixing anything that needed correction. I have uploaded their last receipt showing they only had ******** left to be reimbursed, presumably because they were already planning to not do the fireplace either -- which was long before multiple people gave up believing their perpetual lies about intentions to complete the work. L&I didn't believe him for long since they'd had many issues with them and their work in the past. L&I explained to them that they did not qualify to threaten a lien and that they did so illegally, as a coercive effort that successfully gained them money from a bank they had not earned.
