      The best customer service I have experienced in many years! We had two windows that had become discolored after 10+ years. Getting them replaced for free was quick and painless. They scheduled a date, kept us informed along the way, showed up when they said they would, and replaced both windows professionally and pleasantly within 30 minutes. If only all companies were this good!

      Just got off the phone with Milgard customer service regarding a broken and now clouded window. I was told that their "lifetime warranty" wouldn't cover this and that we needed to contact an authorized Milgard dealer to purchase a new window. They said their warranties have changed and that we should have been told this. We purchased over $50k of Milgard products from 2 seperate dealers and 1 broken window isn't covered by their "lifetime warranty." The lifetime warranty is the reason we purchased Milgard vs. another brand. Cavaet emptor. Would give them zero stars if that were possible. Additionally, first dealer delivered bent screens 3 yrs. ago and we're still waiting for replacements.

      Milguard called to confirm receipt of my warranty claim and to schedule service. Easy to fill out online warranty claim with clear directions on how to determine replacement window measurements. Technician showed up on time and efficiently replaced two windows. We are original owners of the home and greatly appreciate this warranty.

      Milgard had scheduled an appointment date and time from 11 to 1 p.m on March 7th. No one showed up nor did they contact me. I have been waiting one month for their service call to address a malfunction to their patio door at my home. My problem is not an installation problem but a product problem.

      Techs **** and **** arrived in the time window Milgard had communicated to me. They listened to the issues I had with my patio door and took steps that they believe will address those issues. I am a bit reserved on saying it is fixed since the issue shows up when outside temperatures get well below 32 degrees. From strictly a service perspective they did a great job.

      We had all new windows and a sliding door put in and the installers pointed out that 1 of the windows and the sliding door were scratched from the factory and put in an order to have Milgard come out and replace the glass. The window also fogged up between the panes considerably when it rains, so we were glad it worked out that it was being replaced. When the Milgard technician came today, he seemed annoyed right off the bat that he had to be here. I showed him the window and door and he told me that he doesnt see any scratches. Admittedly, when the installers first pointed out the scratches, we could barely see them, and it should be noted that we did not ask to have them replaced. Regardless, the order was placed and the Milgard tech was here, but it was obvious he didnt want to replace them. After pointing out the scratch on the sliding door he told me that since he cant see it from 6 feet away, that it wasnt covered under warranty. He also made a point to tell me that fogging between the panes is also not covered under warranty, but since he was here already, h*** replace them anyway. After replacing the sliding door pane, I saw him struggling to get the door to close. A short while later he said they were done and left. I was in the middle of a business call when he was leaving and seeing this, just started to talk at me without giving me a chance to ask the person on the phone to hold on a minute. Very rude. The Milgard tech seemed annoyed the entire time, seemed rushed, and after he left, we noticed the sliding door does not operate nearly as smoothly as it did. It also makes a sound when opened and closed as if something is rubbing the wrong way, and finally, the molding around the glass now has gaps which were not there before. I almost felt like I had to remind the tech that not only was he was not personally paying for the windows, but that he was being paid to be here, so to please drop the bad attitude.
