I have attempted to contact this company so they will drop the law suit since we agreed on a settlement and I paid it that same day! I have called daily multiple times and sent many emails! This is ridiculous!Business Response

I am filing this complaint against Rausch Sturm LLP for attempting to collect a disputed business credit card debt from my company, ********************************, without being legally registered or licensed in the state of ********Despite my formal written request for validation, they failed to provide sufficient proof of the alleged debt. I requested the original signed agreement, full chain of title (bill of sale, flow agreements, assignments), itemized ledger of charges, and documentation of licensing in *******. Instead, they provided vague bank statements, which do not constitute legal ************* make matters worse, I conducted a license search on the *************************** Regulations REAL System, and confirmed Rausch Sturm LLP is not registered or licensed to collect commercial debt in *******. Screenshots of these search results are available and show No results matched your search criteria.Their collection activity violates:Florida Statutes ******* & ******* collecting commercial debt without state registration FCCPA Fla. I am trying to reach out to anyone at this company. I have tried for days to get into my online portal, can't access anything. I have called and left several voice mail messages, I have emailed every email I can find online. No one calls back, no one emails, nothing. Their online help form continually returns an error after submission. This same issue happened last month, and I received no communication back from anyone. I have attempted to call them several times a day and emailed them for WEEKS! I did live chat with an agent got a settlement and paid the full amount. Now no agent has logged in since the amount was paid! My account is still showing a balance! I am not able to go to the mediation meeting as I have mandatory training that day for a new job. I have tried to contact this company repeatedly, every day, for almost 2 weeks. Hours at a time. The system keeps you on hold for 4 1/2 minutes, then goes to a message and voicemail. I've left over 15 voicemails, sent multiple emails to three different addresses I've gotten from the phone line, the website, and the main location website. I received a notice of garnishment from my employer, but I can't do anything about it if I can't contact them. I had no idea about this, I was never served, they served someone at an old address of mine (my ex husband), and I was never given any chance to address the issue. I can make a payment arrangement, but I CAN'T afford the amount of the garnishment. I tried to file a hardship, but the courts say you can't do that until they've actually taken the money from you. Which sounds crazy. This company pulled some shady stuff and now won't answer anything? I see them respond on BBB with the same copy/paste message for all complaints saying they will reach out, and then responses from consumers saying they don't ever follow through and contact anyone. This has got to be addressed. If I have to get an attorney and do it, I guess that's what I have to do, but it would be so much easier if they could just return an email or phone call. I had signed a payment agreement back in October 2024 with Attorney ******* ****** and have been making my payments on time every month. I got a letter in the mail said we are going to trial 6-12-25 I called the office back in May and asked when will this be dismissed and she said it will be but I have to keep checking with my court office. I do not want to have to take off work for this and have tried to get someone to call me or email me back recently numerous times to find out whats going on and no response. I received a letter from Rausch Sturm LLP regarding a debt with Portfolio *******************. The letter explained that I may qualify for relief if my income is below $750 per week. I have been trying to contact them to provide proof of my income and understand my options.Every time I call, Im transferred repeatedly and then disconnected. I spent over an hour on the phone without ever reaching someone who could assist me. Rausch Sturmp LLP is harassing me for a debt that isnt even on my credit report at all and I have no recollection of ever doing any kind of business with the original creditor.
