    I am writing to file a complaint against **** ******* owner of DeMaios All-Around Maintenance-Contract and End-2-End Home Improvement. I hired Mr. ****** for a basement renovation in, ***The contract stipulated completion time of 3-4 days and a total cost of $4,250, which included an upfront payment of $2,125 and a second payment of $1,600. The project was plagued with issues, poor workmanship, and a failure to complete the work as promised, which led to the termination of his services.Summary of Issues:1.Workmanship Failures:oCorners were uneven, and the texture and sanding were not done.oSheetrock was improperly installed. Electrical outlets were covered with sheetrock & stuffed with Insulation.oExcess mud on the floor and painted over poor ********************** Damage and Misuse:oFloor fan was broken during the course of the project.oEmpty beer cans were found in the basement.oStrong odor of marijuana in the house, and a bottle with urine.oWorkers used personal property, without permission.o Windows were left open during below-zero weather.3.Failure to Communicate and Meet Deadlines:oThe project was repeatedly delayed without any clear timeline for completion.oThere were constant requests for more money.After numerous attempts to address these issues with Mr. ******* we had no choice but to terminate his services. We have since hired another contractor to fix, replace, repair & finish what we have originally hired and signed a contract with ****** ******************** Additional $3,500.Request for BBB Assistance:Given the numerous violations of the contract and the poor quality of service provided, I am requesting that the Better Business Bureau assist in resolving this matter by formally documenting this complaint and helping us by recovering a full refund of $7,250.Please let me know if any additional documentation is needed to support this complaint. I appreciate your prompt attention to this matter.
