I placed the order on the boat after my fishing trip in **** on July 15th, 2024. The gentleman took several photos on July 15th, and I also sent several photos to ********* on July 29th, 2024. I received my first product pictures back on January 15th, 2025. You can compare this picture (first attempt) to the actual fish picture. They look nothing alike. I expressed by concern how that looked nothing like the photos and they sent another picture, followed by others. Again, these looked nothing even remotely like the many pictures that I sent. At this point, they have not provided anything close and I just desire a refund.Initial Complaint

I paid $1200 almost a year ago, and have not received nor heard from this company, when I reach out all I hear about is how ********* was too overwhelmed with the amount of work that she had on her plate and that's why this was missed now they are asking for another $300 for me to get this fish shipped. And on the receipt I have it states no additional cost!Business Response

***** placed his order on 5/2/24 we reached out to him at the 2 week point which is stated on his contract on 5/17/24 his balance was then paid on 5/24/24. The mounts are completely handmade and take roughly 7-8 months to complete from when the balance is paid. In that time, ********* was promoted, and **** took over her previous position of contacting clients, inputting orders and collecting balances and shipping costs. ***** was informed at the 8 month point that his order was completed and ready to ship. The shipping, crating and insurance is typically 40-45% of the price of the mount with crating being upwards of 25% which is all listed on our contracts. ***** was quoted $300.00 for crating and shipping his mount and was unhappy with the cost of his shipping balance. He then stated he was not going to pay another dime and refused to cover the cost of shipping his trophy mount. Within the 8-month time period we sent Brody texts/emails and even spoke on the phone. The order was never missed and was completed within our current time frame.Customer Answer

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
[Please type your response here.]The response by this taxidermy is complete blatantly false and is an attempt to cover the neglect that was bestowed against me. This company called me one time after I gave a deposit to collect the other portion of what I agreed to. They stated on the phone to me during that phone call that there would not be any other additional charges . Other than that *** never spoke to this company since they got all the funds they were looking for. So after spending over $1000 and not hearing from anyone , I finally decided to reach out to them and they explain to me that the fish has been done for quite sometime and there was a new employee that somehow missed my fish and then proceeds to tell me there is another charge for $300 , after telling me several months prior I was paid in full. The fact still remains that *** paid over $1000 over almost a year ago and this company has failed to contact me, reach out to me , email or any other type of communication. They were fine with taking my thousand dollars, and then never hearing from me again or coming through with the service that they provided. After I expressed my concerns with the last phone call that I had to make to this company, (because again, they have not / will not contact me , because they got the money that they scammed me out of ) the lady I spoke with said **** would be reaching out to me to attempt to make this right , and as of today February 6th still have had no contact , no fish and no refund. Nowhere in this situation should I be punished for paying over $1000 and trusting a company to do what they said they were gonna do instead they ghost me for almost a year and then act like its my fault whenever I send in a complaint, theres no way I should be punished for paying a large amount of money and not getting what I paid for

I paid this company $1750 for a mold of the fish my son caught back in November. They took two payments totaling the above amount even before showing me designs. After requesting several times to send possible design ideas over the phone and through emails, the company decided I was too much of a burden and canceled me as a client stating that they would be keeping $1100 out of the $1750! This is stealing! They never had any urgency to help me, but they sure did decide to keep my money very fast!Initial Complaint

They stole $575 from me after they baited and switched on cost broke my 11yr son's heart. He caught a 50 barracuda in April after a high pressure sale on the boat I paid $1200 for a mount of the barracuda. With them telling me crating and shipping would be between $250-$300 after 7 months waiting on it they tell me it's going to be over $500 on shipping I told them that wasn't right and they pretty much told me to go s**** myself. I told them to refund my money they refused to refund $575 of my money for absolutely nothing I got in return except a heart broken son.Initial Complaint

I went on vacation April to returned early May to ******************* I caught a trophy ****** I was meet at the dock, by a man from this taxidermy company Rinehart, payed ****** dollars to have service to begin, non refundable When I returned home finish paying the remaining ******* dollars the remaining balance on my **** credit card. On the back of the receipt it says " allow 12to14 weeks for completion" my mount was not finished in that amount of time, I have asked for the return of my money ******* dollars, I have not gotten anyone to respond. When I call them. They put me on hold and tell me that lady name ****** would get in contact with me I did speak with her in the beginning two calls and some texts. I told her I would like my funds return to my credit card or a certified check. The mount I asked the be here so I could have it for my birthday (*****) she texted and said it would be hear later that when I just asked her to return my money please.I called the company again **** and **** with no response.thank you hope you can help me.Business Response

This is in regard to *********************** ID ********.Since April 27, 2022 we have been dealing with ***************** I have enclosed a copy of the invoice he has with us with his signature ordering this fish.At the very start of this order, ***** started issues with his fish. He wanted it one minute and wanted to cancel the next. We would have our **** Representative call him and talk with him and then he would say, yes send me the fish. He would then call here the very next day and say he didn't want it. Upon our **** Rep saying, yes, make the fish he wants it. We started production of the fish. He continued to harass my customer service agents on the phone several times weekly. He would talk very disrespectfully to them and continue to call and keep his antics going.We finally called in July and talked about getting his fish shipped out to him. At that time he stated that he was going to be gone for 1 month and would like the fish shipped then. We waited a month and called to tell him that we were shipping it and he stated that he no longer wanted it because we didn't get it to him in time for his birthday. At no time were we given any information on the docks or in the office that he wanted it by a specific date. The reason he wouldn't have received it would be that he asked us to wait a month and when we did, he said it was too late based on this supposed date.I think that posting this complaint with you was wrong considering that we have bent over backwards for ***** and spent many, many hours talking with him and trying to work with him.
