    I spoke to the owner in August about wanting to do a session and have photos for a specific date in December. Photos were taken in October but not received by the agreed upon December date. I was told by the owner that she was sorry and that she paid for expedited delivery to have my album to me by Christmas, but it did not arrive by then either. Through the next three weeks, I was promised several different delivery dates and promised that I would be sent a tracking code, all of which never came. I requested a refund for all this inconvenience and lack of delivery/communication and was told I could get $150 back. I complained that that was a slap in the face for the failure to deliver the product at the agreed upon time, so I was offered a full refund, which I have spent over a month trying to get back. I finally received a partial refund with no communication as to why the whole amount was not provided. I am still trying to get the remainder of my money back. I did not receive a product, so my money toward that product should never have been spent by the owner. I do plan to file in small claims court if the remaining balance is not paid by this week.

    In August I decided to get boudoir photos done and chose Studio Noir + Boudoir to do business with. I paid $2200 for an album and bedside metal frame. In the contract, it says the album and metals would be in my hands in exactly 8 weeks. When it had been 8 weeks I reached out because I had not received anything. The owner then continued to blame her lab for this delay. It took another 2 weeks and I still had not received anything. I reached out again and now her "new lab" was giving her issues as well. I asked for a partial refund due to this because I was promised they would be in hand in 8 weeks. A couple weeks later my album arrived, with no bedside metals as promised. A few months prior at my appointment I had chosen a brown leather album cover. When I received my album, the cover was blue velvet. I reached out on this and was told she would get a replacement sent out and to give 5 days. It has been over a month, and I have yet to receive. I continue to ask about the refund that I have yet to receive, but I never get responses. Occasionally I will get a response telling me to be patient and that she has been sick. At this point I have been ****** patient. All I would like at this point is a refund for the stress and trouble this has caused me.
