My husband and I had granite counter tops and a large single bowl sink installed during a kitchen remodel in February 2021. Last night (July 2024), the sink fell out of the counter top. (Pictures can be provided). I called the next day. No one returned my call, & only text messages were sent. Kenosha & Racine Granite Corp texts made no sense for example: "Good morning. That's very unusual we can fix it no problem we can warranty anything that old but can deduct 50 percent to fix it.we would get 400 so would 150 be ok w you can do it this am if your available". After realizing they were only going to rehang the sink I questioned all the other damage that was caused by the falling sink. The response "Ok so rehang the sink. Have to look at the garbage disposal if running smooth if not they vibrate everything apart. 150 fix cabinet best we can. See about plumbing 200-350 approx so 350-400 total can't guarantee the cabinet repair looks like painted ?" The sink was not supported well enough. There isn't even a silicone ring or anything on the top sink lip nor are there any other supports but the 4 clips (2 of which are now totally gone as the sink pulled them from the granite.) This should not happen. This is the companies fault and they should have insurance too cover for these rare instances. Upon further review of my notes from the installation, I was reminded that a piece of the countertop was cut incorrectly. The dimensions were accurate but the L shape went in the wrong direction. The company decided to cut the new piece free of charge. Not sure why I would have been charged for a recut error. Nor did the company offer compensation, a percentage, off, etc.

I did my research prior to picking/ trusting KRG to do our kitchen countertops for a kitchen addition. In the beginning they took to time to help me pick out the countertop that I wanted to match what our current kitchen had and they came out in 1 week as promised to install the counters. Then 1 week after having our new counters, I noticed that their were spots that would catch rags, paper towels when cleaning the top and their are even sharp spots on top that cut my hand. I reached out to the company more than 5 times now since reporting this issue and requesting them to come back out and fix it due to the safety issue and they keep putting me off saying when they get time as they are busy. I paid extra for the 15 year sealant warranty to be applied on top and there are spots that need to be gone over again. The company is not making existing customers a priority and are taking new jobs instead. If you have any issues with your counters with them good luck on getting anything fixed. They do not honor their contracts if anything goes wrong. At least, this has been our experience so far. We are now going on almost 3 weeks of waiting for them to fix our counters after contacting them to do so.

I have never left a bad review in my life, but this company is the exception. We have used them 8 times now, prices are always great, install and countertops are decent, which I was fine with because of the cheap pricing. Be prepared to call repeatedly and you have to be persistent in order to actually get countertops from these guys. I have even picked up and installed myself on several occasions to avoid the delays and numerous phone calls related to install. All of this I was fine with because of pricing. However the last project we did with them they cut the holes for the sinks in my master bath too far away from the wall and my faucets drip onto the countertops. We came to the conclusion that new faucets need to be purchased instead of tearing out countertops and the tile backsplash (wall mounted faucets). Since then they have stopped answering my phone calls and texts! Do NOT use this company.
