      There is no price transparency. They quoted $475 last year, it was $500 and Marc said he gave me a "discount." This year it was twice as much ($950!) and he said it was another discount, but he only had to do one more form because I sold my second home. He wouldn't explain why it was so much, either, he just said, "it was billable hours." I will not be returning.

      Dear ****,Thank you for voicing your frustration - we are sorry that you were unsatisfied. Our billing structure is and has always been based on time spent on material. Billing rates vary depending on the qualifications and experience levels of the staff; and on the organization of the material brought in for the staff to work on. Billing rates also may fluctuate and increase the following year in correspondence to the economy. Sometimes, as new tax clients, services might be discounted as a courtesy; it's at the discretion of the partners.
