    Used a vending machine at the **** ****** (**) Hospital on either Monday Feb 12 or Tuesday Feb 13. The product (a bag of M&M) was dispensed but the bag and candy were soaking wet. I called the number listed on the machine to notify them. Talked with **** (was very nice). He directed me to call ************ (Cantalope) for a refund. I called them the next day and was asked if the charge had showed up in my bank statement (at that time I did not know). I was told to call back in a few days. I called back the end of the week and was again told I could not get a refund because the bank did not release the charge. I called back today, and again, was denied a refund even though this charge has been deducted from my bank account. The lady would not allow me to speak and ended up hanging up on me. Overall, they (Cantalope) have been very rude.

    The vending service is Canteen Vending.  they provided me the phone number for a refund, which is Cantaloupe.  I am not sure which one to pursue

    Hello,

    We have our local Canteen refund team working on this right now (March 12th - the date I received the letter).  The complaint regarding M&M's makes sense as we have vending machines that have cold soda and candy in the same machine.  When a compressor goes bad problems like this exist.  We are unsure what number was called and who **** is (mentioned in the complaint).  Our local team would never had suggested ********* as a solution as we handle refunds here.  We are going to send our route driver to the location and see what phone numbers are posted on the machines so that confusion like this doesn't happen again.

    We called the customer at ********. and left a message to resolve this ASAP.
