Fetch rewards is stealing my points which I have rightfully earned by shopping. These points add up ans you can buy gift cards. Fetch canceled my $10 gift card redemption claiming I am submitting fraudulent receipts which is nit true. Now they have stolen 500 points from my account. I can no longer purchase my gift card when before this I had enough to do so. I saw that multiple people are complaining about the same thing.

Hello! Thank you for reaching out to the Fetch team!

We have reviewed the user's account and activity in question with our team. We show that this user submitted the same receipt multiple times by covering up details on the receipts. This type of activity goes against our Terms of Service.

We have since removed the points that were obtained fraudulently from these submissions. This user will not be able to get these fraudulent points back.

Fetch loves to award points to our users who act within our guidelines in our Terms of Service, which can be reviewed here: (******************************************************). Please refer to line 28 within our Terms of Service.

Fetch may take any action in its sole discretion against any activity it deems fraudulent, including terminating an account. This includes but is not limited to, when somebody tries to fraudulently obtain points. Fetch has the prime goal of providing a fair experience for users to accumulate points and maximize their savings, this is why we have to freeze/deactivate accounts that violate our Terms of Service.

If you have any further requests for more information on this matter please let ** know at **********************************.

    Warm regards, The Fetch Team.

Friday of last week I had problems with the fetch app and I wasnt getting any points for my reciepts so I reached out to fetch rewards on ******** hoping for some help but instead they just deactivated my account saying I violated tos, which I didn't do anything wrong. No explanation, all I wanted was them to help fix their app not deactivate my account for no reason. I would like my account back and all the points I earned. Also I cashed out for a $50 **** giftcard before this problem started and it had a 3 day of processing so I want what is owed to me.

Hello and thank you for reaching back out to the Fetch team.

We were more than happy to look at this account more closely.

When taking a look, our team can confirm that this user was submitting receipts from purchases that were not made by them personally. This is a direct violation of our Terms of Service. (***************************************************) After notifying this user of the deactivation, they continued to violate our Terms of Service by creating a new account where they continued this fraudulent behavior. The original account, and all associated accounts have been deactivated due to multiple violations.

We do not like when we have to deactivate an account, but when our Terms of Service are violated, unfortunately, we have no choice.

If there is anything else we can assist with, we are available at support(at)fetch.com.

    Thank you.

I hope that you are having a wonderful week.

I am a ************* Communications Coordinator at Fetch and had a few questions regarding complaint 20002191.

We closed this user's first account back in 2020 due to fraudulent behavior. This user snapped multiple Shop Rite receipts and purposefully folded/obscured the payment information. We believe that this user may be a personal shopper for InstaCart or a Shoprite employee. They had over 100 Shop Rite receipts alone. This is a direct violation of our Terms of Service. (********************************************service)

After this first account was deactivated, this user created a new account and continued the same fraudulent behavior on this second one. The second account earned over *************************** points fraudulently.

When this user filed the complaint, our fraud team reviewed these accounts again and upheld the decision for them to remain deactivated. These accounts are too high risk to be considered for reactivation because receipt collecting and having multiple accounts goes against our Terms of Service. This complaint was sent back to us the same day, 05/01/2023 as unresolved, however, the user did not provide more information.

Our social team is looking for clarification as to why this complaint was not closed after our first reply. We had a complaint similar to this a few months ago, ********. In this complaint, our team provided identical information and the complaint was resolved upon first touch.

In our BBB replies, our team refrains from sharing too much about the fraud systems that we have in place in order to review users for fraudulent behavior. We are open to providing more information like this if that means we are able to successfully resolve the complaints.

In instances like this, we can provide the amount that the user has earned fraudulently, the retailer name that the user was collecting from, or even the number of different credit card numbers visible on their receipts.

If there are particular details like the ones I have listed above that you may need in order to close complaints like these in the future, please let us know.

We look forward to hearing from you!

I am not the only one having this issue as I've read in reviews. This app doesn't scan/retreive ******* e-recepits. It's only with ******* I don't have this issue with amazon. Well at least in the not retrieving them at all sometimes amazon ones get missed. I contact support each & every time it happens. They always respond let's trouble shoot this and it's annoying because the trouble shooting does nothing. I went through it a zillion times and refuse to any farther. Typically, after telling them I already trouble shot it and it didn't work. They manually process my ******* e recepits. Sometimes it takes telling them I'm going to file a BBB complaint before they do it, but this time I been at contacting them and they just tell me to trouble shoot. So, I had no choice but to file an complaint as i want my points. Oh, too sometimes they state their IT **** is working on it to give it 24 hrs and try again. But nothing changes and I anit doing that over and over each time it doesn't work. It says that no new e-recepits were found. Well they are there so I don't now why not! Once I hit the ****** point **** I am using them for rewards and them I am doing away with this Outrageous app. I'm not playing with them I mean business I want my points. Another thing I have issue with here and there is that it doesnt pick up all the required info even when the entire recepit been snapped. I bet they wouldn't appreciate one buying items in several different transactions just to get as many recepits they can in one shopping trip and obtain triple points by doing so, well I don't appreciate not getting my points neither and I won't put up with it anymore. Get the app working so we can get our points!

Hello and thank you for reaching out to Fetch!

We love showering our user's with points and we were more than happy to take a look at this account.

We do apologize for the trouble with this user's ******* connection. This feature is still being tested, and we are actively fine-tuning it. At this time, the only way to receive credit for these ******* purchases is to attempt troubleshooting with our Support Specialists. If this troubleshooting does not work, our team will be able to manually process these eReceipts to the user's account.

Additionally, if this user is missing points on their physical receipts, we recommend using the Correct my Receipt tool. This is the quickest way to edit your receipts if points are missed. This user can read about this here: *************************************************************************************************************************

If this user should have any more questions, we are always available at support(at)fetch.com.

They are offering 750 points to anyone who buys any 2 items of ********** mayonnaise, or ****** products before May 5th 2023. I've not received my 750 points after purchasing 2 ********** mayonnaise containers, corrected my receipt multiple times, and contacted their customer service multiple times for this issue. Their customer service refuses to give me my ************************************************** my 750 points. This is not the first time this has happened. It has happened 5 additional times when purchasing Pepsi Cola whilst they were running a 10 points for every $1 spent.

Hello! Thank you for reaching out to the Fetch team.

We love awarding our users for shopping at their favorite places and we were more than happy to look at the offer on this user's account.

When taking a closer look at this user's account, it appears that this offer is awarded when you purchase one ********** OR Best Foods item AND one Maille item. Since two ********** products were purchased, and not one ********** and one Maille item, the progress on this offer has not been completed. If this user would like to complete this offer, they have until 05/05/2023 to purchase a Maille item. This user can find the requirements and a description of eligible products for the offer by tapping it on the Discover tab within the app. If this user should have any other questions, we are always available at support(at)fetch.com.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

The information provided by Fetch is false. It clearly shows in the details that I can purchase 2 ********** mayonnaise products or 2 ****** products. Which means I do not need to purchase from both brands. Just 2 items from the offer in total. Which I have done by purchasing 2 ********** mayonnaise products.

The terms of the offer state that the 750 points will be awarded when one ********** OR Best Foods item AND one Maille item are purchased. Hello!

Thank you for reaching back out.

We can confirm that the items purchased do not align with the terms of the offer. We will attach a photo of the offer in question. The offer progress is at 50% because a Maille item was not purchased. The terms of the offer state that the 750 points will be awarded when one ********** or Best Foods item and one Maille item are purchased. Since a Maille item was not purchased, we will not be awarding the points.

We did go ahead and add 500 points to this users account as a thank you for the feedback. If this user is missing points for a recent Pepsi purchase, we invite them to use the Correct my Receipt feature, or connect with us at support(at)fetch.com.

I have provided the multiple offers details multiple times. They've continued to fail to give me the 750 points, and evidence to disprove my claims. The ********** offer as I have already shared clearly states 2 ********** mayonnaise products or 2 ****** products not 1 of each product. This offer during Fetch's inaction has expired on May 5th 2023 ********************* for a response from Fetch. Whom continues to fail to provide evidence. Meanwhile I still am missing points on that offer along with their ******* offer of 10 points for every $1 spent on (now) 6 receipts that they refuse to even acknowledge is also part of my complaint. I have been using Fetch for a long time now, and recently I have had a problem with them saying my receipts are fraudulent. I have a lot of different cards with several different cards numbers, sometimes I even use cash but they have all been my purchases. I racked up enough points to get a gift card for Dominos. 2 weeks later I cant access my rewards at all, not the ones Ive used before or the one I never got to use from Dominos. I dont even want to use the app anymore, I just want to use the gift card that is rightfully mine.

I purchased this insurance for my dog with the understanding that I had a $250 deductible and that any payments made to be would be at 80% after the deductible was met. That was a lie they don't cover anything unless it's an emergency therefore they took 3 months payment from me and didn't do squat for me. They misrepresent who they are and what they do. It may be in the fine print but it should be upfront if you're an upfront company. I'm requesting all three months refund because I was misled. The only proof of payment I have is my digital bank statement and it won't let me take a screenshot

Hello, My phone is shared with my sibilings ( 7 and 9 yrs old ). A few months ago, they saw my fetch rewards app and decided to investigate. They knew that if you scanned receipts you would earn credit so they ended up making fake ones online. A couple days later, they bought an $10 gift card for the App Store. Their plan was to use it to buy robux ( online credit for a game Roblox ). The next day, I tried logging into my account but soon received a message saying that my account was deleted. Fast forward to today, I found out that you could file an report in order to retrieve your account. That reason being why I didnt reach out before. What Im asking is if there is any possible way for me to retrieve my account. Sorry for the incident with my sibilings.

Fetch Rewards deactivated my account abruptly (without warning), and said they won't let me redeem the ****** points (nearly $50) that's sitting in my account. On 3/20/23, I put in a ticket saying I cannot submit receipts, and they responded saying my account was deactivated as there was evidence that receipts submitted were not personally mine. They then said my account has been permanently closed due to the violation. I wrote back to them on 3/26/23, asking them to cite the evidence found, since the only receipts I've ever submitted have been my own, made with my own credit card (since I always use a credit card). They replied that they cannot release detailed information about the criteria for account deactivation. I'm skeptical the real reason is because I was a very high point earner, but had never given Fetch any referrals over the years, so they saw my account as costing them more than they were gaining from it.I'm not asking for my Fetch account back, I'm asking for the nearly $50 in rewards I had sitting in my account, that were robbed from me for some shady reason that I'll probably never know.

I have been accused of fraudulent acts and due to those accusations my account has been deactivated and my rewards points have been stolen... I have earned my points by using my own money to pay for the products that fetch has promoted on their app... I have been efficiently using the app to maximize my time and points... Because of that I have been deemed a fraudster... They have not proven anything to support their accusations... They have only said that it appears like there's something wrong with the receipts I submitted... Which I can't believe, since all my receipts were paid in cash... I am owed ******* points equal to $670... That was a whole lot of work to achieve that... I wish for your intervention to bring fetch to restore my account and return my $670 worth of points... I have complained on numerous occasions about being put on time out for being too enthusiastic about their rewards program... I have included screenshots of those times... Their timing appears to be in relation to my progress, which is not a coincidence... And, I think I have been targeted for scrutinizing because of that... Please hold fetch accountable for me... Thank you, B.B.B.

Hello and thank you for reaching out to the Fetch team! We love showering our user's with points and were more than happy to take a look at this account.

It appears that this user has joined us after being inactive for some time, so we want to thank them for snapping again.
When we took a look at this account, we discovered multiple fraudulent receipt submissions. Submitting fake receipts is a direct violation of our Terms of Service and resulted in the deactivation of this account.

This user will not receive the ******************** points from these submissions, but our team has reversed the deactivation of this account with the request that this user review our Terms of Service (***************************************************) If the fraudulent behavior continues on this account, we will have no choice but to permanently deactivate.

If this user has any questions, we are always available at **********************************.

    Regards,

    The Fetch team

    Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

I wanted clarity on the issue of whether Fetch would be giving me the points they deemed undeniably correct. Since I'm still locked out, I am unable to confirm it. Would you be able to reassure me that this is the meaning of their offer. Thank you for your assistance in this matter. Kind regards.

    Regards,
